“The BEST dairy free products! 3 years ago I was diagnosed with an allergy to all dairy. Bakery's became a memory from my past. I embarked on a quest of taste testing vegan baked goods and dairy free recipes. Sadly, I quickly became disenchanted and resigned myself to life without delicious tasting baked goods. Luckily for me, my husband DISCOVERED KARINA's. One evening he came home with two boxes of Karina's dairy free bread, pastries, and chocolate cake. HEAVENLY best describes the flavors and taste. Going forward, I'll be driving from Chicago to Mundelein for my baked goods!“

“Super cute and cozy bakery in downtown Wauconda. The chai latte was perfect and the blueberry scone was fresh. I like the homey atmosphere and that you can see the bakery operations in back. Everything is clean and organized.Parking: Easy street parking (free) or park in the spaces across the street just off the alley.“

“Dalton's makes some of the best gluten free desserts I've ever had. I ask for their lemon bars for every birthday! They are so accommodating to all allergies and intolerances as well. I've tried a lot of their pastries and there hasn't been one I don't love. I got my first real paczki in 14 years there and it was amazing!! The owners are the kindest, funniest, most welcoming people ever. You don't even have to be gluten free to love their products! They're incredible!“

“A cute lovely welcoming atmosphere a very friendly mum and daughter partnership. I am very fortunate to have this bakery on my doorstep. Fabulous bonus that I am able to enjoy delicious cakes, cookies all dairy, nut and egg free. If you have not tried any of their products you should stop by. You will not be disappointed.“

“Stopped by on Sunday, October 22nd. My sister had never been before. The owner was so kind and gracious. The bunt lets were delicious. We were in and out in less than 5 minutes! The store is set up invitingly and with great ideas for celebrations of all kind.“

“The environment around the bakery is small but cozy. The workers here are so kind, and their Bundt cakes are even better. I really love their cream cheese frosting it is so tasty and addicting. I would definitely recommend you come try it. My favorite flavor personally is their red velvet Bundt cake.“

“Always a great treat whether I'm with the family or not and especially on a hot summer day/night, Cold Stone really hits the spot. But even when it gets cold out, still fun to go to even during a brutal Chicago area winter.This is probably the one ice cream parlor around compared to others that has a huge emphasis on toppings/creations which is definitely their strong point.Always a great selection of flavors between their regular year round and seasonal flavors, prices still seem reasonable although the high-end ice cream chain has never really been cheap and customer service remains consistently good in an always spiffy clean/sanitized atmosphere.CSC obviously does battle with competitors such as Oberweis up the road and Graeter's. When it comes to taste and quality, this place lives up to the price and my kids are well worth it anytime of the year.Only con (which doesn't drag down a 5⭐️ rating) about this place is the parking lot which can be greatly limited especially on wknd nights when nearby Giordano's gets packed. You may find yourself having to park east across the street from Starbucks and walking a bit of distance.“

“Yum yum! Stopped by here to grab some dessert for a cold and snowy day at home. As soon as my sweet tooth bf and I (a converted sweet tooth) walked in, we were taken cared of by a nice, young woman. She was kind and swift with our order, allowing us to gaze at the goodies in the display. I ended up ordering a white chocolate raspberry bundlet which was sweet and moist, I believe the frosting was a cream cheese frosting and was so decadent and melt in your mouth. I'm not a big white chocolate fan but this...this could make me a believer. I absolutely loved it. My bf got a chocolate, chocolate chip bundlet and he loved his as well. Again, it was so moist with that perfect ratio of chocolate mixed with buttery, spongey melt in your mouth texture of the cake....it was heavenly. The actual location of this place is at the end of a strip mall. It is quite bright and small but the decorations are fun and lovely. All in all, we definitely will be back if we have some (extra) cash and have a sweet tooth craving. It is a bit pricey but still absolutely delicious.“

“I came to the Deer Park location for the first time ever this past hot Sunday to pick up my $65 online app order of German Chokolate Kake, Berry Berry Berry Good and Surrender to Strawberry! My order was promptly ready when I arrived and courteously handed to me by 1 of their very nice and professional employees! The interior was very clean and organized--and packed with happy customers! I would definitely come back to this location for my ice cream cravings from now on!!“
