“I'd rank this DQ as the most reasonably priced, accommodating, and friendly fast food place in our little town. Whiffle Boys is a close second, Hardee's is third, and Taco Bell/KFC is fourth. McDonald's comes in dead last, due to a very rude staff and being a way, way over-priced privately owned franchise.“
“Love the mushroom and Swiss burger. Great service, typically fast. Interior is very dated and pretty much looks like it did 30+ years ago but, more worn down. Could use an update. Parking lot is riddled with potholes and caution is advised as some are very deep.“
“What even is this? Oh, it's "cheese sticks". This isn't the first time either. I'm done paying for burnt bread.Edit: Mark took care of my concerns and is working to correct the ship at this location and acknowledged reaching out to say hey we messed it up and are remaking it for you would've been a lot better than just delivering it anyways. [Which I agree, I would've been completely fine with that and waiting a few more minutes, that's very understandable!]“
“The layout of the front counter is a bit strange, and I am not a fan of the double drive-through. But, apparently, that is progress or so they tell me. I don't know what to say about the food other than it's McDonald's. It is a quick bite. Personally, I wish they would bring back the older menu and not all these new sandwiches that are around the same price as Hardee's or Dairy Queen. Never did I ever think McDonald's would be the same price as either of them, but here we are.Parking: Big open lot, easy to navigate.“
“Parking: The least is 20 spots but the drive-thru and side spots are a bit tight to get in and out of. Other than that, very simple to use the parking.Kid-friendliness: No inappropriate pictures or words on menu/in store. There are kids options like smaller meals and drinks. Everyone seems very nice!Wheelchair accessibility: There is a step up spot and a wheelchair spot at the entrance for both disabled and non-disabled customers, easy use and easy to not run into disabled people with wheelchairs“
“Employees are always very friendly, and the place is clean enough for a Taco Bell. If you go anytime soon, though, beware the wait! They're a little short staffed at the moment. Last time I was there it took them nearly half an hour to make my order, but to their credit this was unusual. They've never gotten my order wrong, and I'll probably go here again.03 May 2019“
“Micheal and I believe a man named Julian around 5 P.M. helped me carry a catering order to the front of my car of 3 large and heavy boxes, 3 large bags, and 7 boxes half the size of the large catering boxes. My car was packed to the fullest. I told them I would let them know how the night turned out. Well, I not only delivered this order to a wedding held in Herrin Illinois, but had to carry most of the items myself, and was not tipped or offered anything by anybody. The trip was worth 11 dollars. I am a man on dialysis so walking and energy is troublesome for me. Thank you both, Micheal And Julian for helping me when you did. You may have had to, but you could have chosen not to and if there was tips involved, they should go to you two as well.“
“There was one woman taking orders, running orders out, washing tables, taking out trash. Sweet, friendly, on top of everything!! She was amazing, the food, was great, and it was a surreal experience in a restaurant in 2024. You just don't see this kind of work ethic anymore!“
“Attention local folks, if you have coupons, don't go to Carbondale West main location!!!!!! No sooner than I pulled up to the drive thru, the first thing they yelled was, "We are a private franchise and we don't accept Any type coupons no matter where they come from" my response: "See Ya don't wanna be ya"!!!!???The murphysboro, Illinois location is the fastest, friendliest, location, and they do accept coupons!!!! Good Luck at other locations“
