“The first time I tried Taco Maya was in Chicago, and I was so excited once I found out there's one closer to me in Niles! The restaurant is always clean and they have some really pretty murals painted on the walls. The fusion of Indian and Mexican flavors is awesome. I love that they have a "salsa bar" so you can try the salsas at varying levels of heat - my favorite is the habanero! The service is great - you order at the register when you walk in, and they hand you a tray of warm tortilla chips and salsa. Then they bring your order to the table. My family particularly enjoys the masala fries. On my last visit, I had the samosa taco (good), the Nashville hot chicken taco (delicious!), and a chicken tamale (just okay). The tamale was a little dry, but it still had good flavor, and I smothered it in all those salsas! I've also tried grilled steak, chingon, and chili potato tacos. However, our most favorite thing on the menu has to be fried ice cream! It's placed on a crispy sweet tortilla and covered in a cereal and then drizzled with chocolate and caramel sauce. It's AMAZING. I also had the churros on my last visit and although tasty, the churros are stuffed with some kind of caramel, and that's a bit too much. Overall, we love coming here. I can't wait to go back!“
“The food was delicious! We have been to other Comales but not one as delicious as this one. We ordered asada cakes, asada tacos, lengua, and the quesabirrias, everything was delicious. And the service is not to mention very friendly and attentive. We are not from the area but of course we will return to try the food.“
“It is a good place to enjoy tacos or burritos. I recommend if you are more than 5 people, order the taco bell party box. It brings good quantity, variety and is not expensive.Parking: It is a regular size parking lot. On weekends it gets a little complicated.“
“When they say taco pros they really mean it. This place and taco my eyes. Probably the best places for tacos right now. Yes, they're super expensive but you get quality over quantity and they load it with cilantro instead of just using it as a garnish. So if you're not a fan of that you should tell them. Other than that it's fire. My boyfriend's a big taco connoisseur and I'm telling you it's fire.“
