“My husband and I enjoyed a delicious and authentic middle eastern meal this past weekend. The food was fresh and flavorful. The owner did the cooking and we even learned a few words of Arabic with his help! Shkran! The location is tricky to find as the restaurant is tucked away in the corner of a strip mall on Cumberland Avenue. We live in the northern suburbs, but were in the Norridge area on business. We might even travel to Bab al Salam for no reason at all! There is plenty of casual seating and many people stopped in for take out. Enjoy!”

I'll say this, if anyone ranks rexs lower than 4.8 they shouldn't be allowed back because they're insane and a risk to society. 🙃 My #1 spot in the Chicagoland area for anything Italian food. My personal favorite is the eggplant parm sandwich.”

Her name was Sarah B, bowls are absolutely delicious, beautifully made, good amount of extra Nutella, the açaí is a nice frozen smoothly flavor, the smoothie I had was fresh and filled with the right quantity and nicely blended. I definitely recommend this place, it was enjoyable to eat and they know how to make their food!❤️”

I would give a 5 star review except I learned that if we leave a tip, the manager takes all of it, the workers do not get anything....shame on you for taking the tip money all for yourself, the employees deserve better and if the employees make the sale they should be the ones getting the tip!”

“I picked up two corned beef and cabbage dinners today for St. Patrick’s Day. The corned beef was inedible(so tough), the carrots were undercooked and the cabbage tasteless. So I paid for 2 dinners of tasty boiled potatoes. I love your restaurant-have eaten there many times. Don’t know what happened?”

“I just received my cookies from UPS and let me tell you, absolutely delicious. Really takes you back to the days of the kid in the cookie jar. I ordered my cookies on Tuesday and received them on Saturday. I’m in Arizona so Jeff made sure they were packed up extra tight and all the boxes were wrapped in bubble wrap. As long as the cookie store is around I will be ordering my Christmas cookies from them. The absolute best, thank you Jeff.”

“Recently ordered a smoothie bowl and forgot to mention my food allergy. Instead of attitude from staff I was met with perfect accommodations and friendly attitudes. She stepped away for a second to clarify with her coworker to see if any of my allergens were added into my bowl and remade it for me. 10/10 for accommodations and service.”
