“Everything was delightful! I had the corned beef wrap a with side of tots. Everyone else in my group enjoyed their meals too. Staff were attentive and friendly! We got here early enough on a Monday(not many places open on Mon.), by the time we left it was very busy. I'd go back again for sure!“

“This is a really nice Irish pub on Main Street in downtown Peoria. I don't think they are going for an authentic Irish experience here. This is an American pub with good beers on tap and a few others in bottles and cans. They serve simple, but really good quality Irish inspired pub food. The fish and chips were above average. I've had worse that cost more in places that promised more. Urlich's has their fryer dialed in, which says a lot about how they genuinely care about serving quality. Service was good on a quiet Thursday. I have had a couple of meals here and more than a few beers. Urlich's is a local worth supporting. Food food, good service, good atmosphere. Above average pub.“

“If wanting eggs over easy don't go here. Can't cook eggs at all. Sent them back because asked for over easy and came out hard. Then got them back and whites wasn't even cooked. But they was under easy. Bacon ? was cold, toast didn't come with the meal. Waitress was too busy talking to friends. Just don't go!“

“As always, the food here is great. But the employees make everything even better. I can’t tell you how many of them go out of their way to make going to Culver’s a good experience. I highly recommend going to this Culver’s. It’s evident the workers really care.“

“We’ve driven by this restaurant a few times and finally had a chance to stop in for a Sunday breakfast/lunch. Absolutely LOVED it. We had a Jr Tenderloin, salad bar, and an Omelette. The portions were huge. The food was quick. Tasty is an understatement- Scrumptulicious would be the way to describe it if that were an actual word. For this cafe it should be. Friendly staff. Good atmosphere. Very glad we stopped in and will definitely be back!! Very affordable as well. Well done Missy's Corner Cafe team. You guys nailed it!“

“Yoooo.....this place is so slept on! I popped in there over the holidays just to check it out, and have been going every week since. The service is ????. The food is ????. And the prices are decent. I like both locations, but the one on Sterling is my fave. Be sure to tip those hardworking folx!“

“Higher quality fast food than the usual suspects. Clean. Condiments and drinks/covers weren't sticky. Very well organized. A drink had spilled into the condiments bin, but considering that it was just after dinner rush, that is understandable. I was disappointed to find that my double butter burgers had transformed into a double butter burger with cheese. Or more likely cheese-based foodstuffs. Dreadful. The staff were very courteous and friendly.Restroom was clean. This Culver's has done away with paper towels except for one motion-activated towel dispenser by the faucets. No paper towel debris all over the sink and the floor. And the restroom door has one of those step-and-pull-with-the-sole-of-your-shoe things affixed to its base. Much less likely to contaminate your just-washed hands in order to open the door.In general I like Culver's and this was one of the nicest I visited in years. The atmosphere? It's screaming, racing around, hyperactive kids purportedly being supervised by adults. But seriously? Ancient grandmas and teenagers who could care less about their charges' behavior. I don't really blame them. But it's why I get my orders to go.Verdict? I still love me some Culver's.“

“We were looking for a somewhere to stop for lunch today and we went with this place. The atmosphere was great, not too many people since they had just opened for the day. Our waitress was very fun and kind, quickly took our order and was very helpful with the menu since it was our first time. We started with the sweet corn nuggets and got chipotle mayo on the side. They were delicious. Then, I got the Howdy burger with a side of fries and my boyfriend got the Howdy chicken with a side of onion rings. Everything was great, and they don't skimp on anything. We definitely got our money's worth. We'll definitely be back!“

“I came by on my way to visit Macomb for a tour of Western Illinois University. I was immediately greeted upon entering, and I received some of the nicest service around (shoutout to Fred). I enjoy going to local spots wherever I travel, and this place made me feel welcome on my trip. Food was excellent! 5 stars, would absolutely come by again whenever I'm back in sunny Peoria again!“
“Went to Mike's Tavern in West Peoria IL for lunch today. This is a small hole in the wall bar and grill. You first think of a two and a half garage that someone turned into a bar. You would be close . The owner is happy to tell you the history of the place. I had their Tenderloin. Crispy crust, toasted and buttered bun. On the thin side of tenderloins but still thicker then most. Just comes with chopped onions and at least a dozen pickles. No lettuce or tomatoes. Husband had the Double Cheeseburger. Once again only chopped onions and pickles. We shared an order of Truffel Oil Fries. Hot and crispy. They were hard to stop eating! Normally these are Parmesan Truffle Oil Fries but they were out of Parmesan. Definitely worth a stop in for lunch. Kitchen isn't open on Monday or Tuesday. Small menu but food is GOOD EATS!“

“I called the store to ask about location and menu options! Gabby, who answered the phone, was very knowledgeable and professional. She even mentioned the January specials. My daughter and I headed over to place our order and Gabby was actually just as delightful in person. Helped us navigate through all of the options and sauces. We got the 10 piece traditional wings with a Honey sauce and garlic Parmesan sauce on the side. Both sauces and chicken was phenomenal. The fries could use something, seasoning wise! We also got the chicken strips with mild sauce and my son enjoyed them for sure! We also got the fried mushrooms but they honestly had no real flavor! Overall our experience was good. Customer service was great, 10/10 chicken and sauces great 10/10, sides 3/10.“

“It was very good and allergy friendly meal (gluten free). I think $14.99 for a chicken sandwich combo meal is a bit pricey so I don't eat it often but I really enjoy it when I do.Dietary restrictions: They have gluten free buns available“

“Great burgers, dogs, onion rings, fries, root beer and pop corn!! We’re from out of town and have been by several times, but decided today was the day to try this little gem for lunch. Food was great and service was even better, very quick, will definitely be back, hopefully before the season end!!“

“Burger Barge remains my favorite burger place. While we miss your old riverfront location, your new location provides a very nice family atmosphere. I had the Illinois burger and my wife had the Fisherman’s Choice 3. Food and service was exceptional! The only negative, that we can come up with, is that you serve Pepsi products. Ugh! We won’t hold that against you because your ice tea is good too!“

“Dog Haus won't leave you in the dog house.Another Thursday and another day of killing time exploring nerd stores with Tim. This time we stopped by the Dog House for our afternoon feast based on Tim's suggestion.Previously a SmashBurger location, the layout is very much the same if you've been here before. I was expecting this place to be more of a restaurant but its more of a fast casual place. You order at the counter and they will bring it out to you. Tim and I needed a few minutes to look over the menu but once we placed our orders, it took maybe 10 minutes to get our food. I think the cashier was also the cook.Since Tim ordered first, I saw his burger come out (something garlic-y) and saw they used hawaiian rolls for buns. I was super hoping mine was on normal buns as the rolls were way too much bread for my liking... but alas... mine had the same 4 rolls for buns. No worries, The Hot Chick sandwich I ordered still looked pretty good and smelled tasty. Side note, the sandwiches don't come with a side so you have to pay extra for fries. There was a chunk of chicken hanging off the burger so I bit that first and instantly regretted skipping on a drink, thinking I could put down a burger and a fry before I could snag a tea or coffee while out and about. When they said it was a spicy chicken sandwich, they weren't kidding. After I let the burn subside, I got to the actual sandwich and I gotta say, it was pretty tasty. The sweet rolls helped mask the spicy side of the sandwich almost to the point of neutering the heat too much. As a spice head, this was a bit of a bummer for me. Tim devoured his garlic burger and cheesy tater tots like it was going out of style. They are his go-to and said it was just as good as every other time he's had it.There is a bar you can sit at if you want. But the casual nature of the place leads me to think that not a lot of people enjoy the adult beverage side of things. But again, maybe it being 3pm on a Thursday is different than what goes on at 6pm on the weekend. The rest of the interior was your standard fast casual restaurant in the 20th Century. There was a fun sign to take a photo with, which you can see above. My only real issue with this place aside is the price. For the fries and burger, it was about $16 or so after tax. It's not that the price was too high for the meal because you definitely get your money worth for the quality... I just wish there was a way to make it a combo so you aren't having to pay full price for each individual item. I would've gladly paid $15-17 for this meal as a combo. Individually, adding a drink would've easily pushed it to $20+ territory and that's just too much for a fast casual restaurant, in my opinion.Parking: Plenty of parking in a shared lot with other businesses. May be a bit of a pinch to park if it's during a rush.“

“As a student living on campus, my food options are pretty limited, but this place is always worth stopping at. I've tried at least 10 different things on the menu and all of them are AMAZING. Gyros full of meat and toppings, Philly steaks oozing with cheese and meat, seriously check this place out.“

“We had burgers, fries and milkshakes. The meals were pretty pricey for a fast food place, but that seems to be more of the norm. The food was decent. The burgers were pretty greasy and kind of just slapped together. There was nothing that made it different than any other chain burger in my opinion. The service was good. If it gets busy, the seating becomes pretty crowded.“
“I was very pleasantly surprised that they are once again serving their homemade root beer in super frosty mugs along with inside dinning. I ordered a super duper frosted root beer float with a two piece fish dinner. Way more than I should have ordered to tell the truth. The float was very impressive, but most impressive was the young lady behind the counter. She had a super personalble personality and that's putting it mildly. She was a go getter and knew her stuff and it was evidently. Never had such a fantastic float and dinning experience in a fast food restaurant. I must say that all of the employees seemed to like the jobs they were doing and it was evident.“

“Always fast service and the products are excellent (even though I typically only get one of two things). The staff keeps the drive thru line moving fast and I have never had any issues at this location which is why I always return!Kid-friendliness: Typically plenty of seating for the kids plus staff have always been very patient as my kids try and decide what they want!Parking: Convenient location with more than enough parking although I typically go later at night when I get a craving for a Strawberry Cheesecake Blizzard!Wheelchair accessibility: Parking spots available and large doors can accommodate wheelchairs without a problem.“

“Went here on my way to Chillicothe. My daughter ordered a 5 piece chicken strip meal! Yes we waited about maybe 10 mins BUT her food was fresh and everyone working were friendly! Had to go inside to use restroom and the entire building including behind the counter food area was clean! Very impressed“
“The Dairy Queen of my youth. I rode my bike 3 miles to eat ice cream hoping I could gain weight. I ate my ice cream at the table in back by the VFW hall under the shade trees. Just visited again after 40years. Only the addition of a drive thru has changed. The staff was super friendly, the nostalgia thick, and the sundae tasty.“

“It was actually a bad day for McDonald's. I'll bet it took 30 minutes to get through drive through. It was the longest wait ive ever experienced. When i reached the first window i was met by a polite young man out of uniform in a white t-shirt. I asked him how many of you are working tonight. He replied 3. He wasn't even supposed to be working but was good enough to pitch in when his team needed him. So when i made it to the window to collect my food i made sure to let the young lady know that they were doing a great job. Under pressure these three young employees pulled it together and showed maturity and a proper work ethic. Honestly i hope they leave McDonald's soon and find their rightful place in the bigger world. They will be leaders if given the opportunity. And by the way we all know McDonald's food is yuck. But today these three stood out. So thats why i wrote a 5 star review for them today. The rest of your employees must be bed wetters. Couldn't go to work today. Get rid of them.“
