“We had the most amazing dinner tonight at Rhythm Kitchen! It was our first time and the food was amazing- there’s something for everyone! The atmosphere is so special and the staff is truly wonderful; our server was especially great with our very active toddler. Great food made by great people served by great people in a great atmosphere that is family friendly, we can’t wait to come back soon!“

“Hands down the best lunch in Peoria for the price and food quality. It is amazing and the cost is not much more than a fast food combo. Try the shrimp and grits or the brisket sandwich. They even have a gluten free crustless quiche and salad combo.“

Waitress didn’t come back and ask how things were she was busy behind the bar doing stuff. But when she brought the bill she thanked us. People were friendly. New go too atmosphere was great.“

“Finally, after looking for memorable fried chicken in Peoria, Illinois, I found it right here at the Bartonville diner. It's not for looking, because I have eaten fried chicken at eight or 10 other places and search. Things I like about this venue is the old-fashioned venue that I've missed for so long. Also, the service is provided with a cheery smile! Follow the fried chicken dinner with a huge slice of carrot cake and a scoop of ice cream. I highly recommend the Bartonville diner! Their menu is huge, so don't just go there for the fried chicken.“

“I’ve been a regular to this place for the last five years, and it never fails to impress. The food is consistently delightful, with a perfect blend of Middle Eastern flavors that tantalize the taste buds. Their fries are, without a doubt, the best in town—crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside. What makes Khoury’s stand out is the combination of quick service and friendly staff, which makes every visit a pleasure. It’s refreshing to have a fast-food option that doesn’t compromise on health or quality. The fusion of tastes here is a delight.“

“We ordered a catfish po-boy and a Philly steak sandwich with fries. The catfish wasn't thawed and so they took forever to make our sandwich. Wish they would have asked us to order something different. The Philly was basically like a chopped up Chuck steak with large slices of green pepper. The fries were okay.“

“This place was amazing!!! I had the Parmesan Truffle Fries, Their award winning Mac and Cheese and Patty Melt. First off the Patty Melt was delicious ?. The bread was nice and soft. The burger was cooked to perfection and cheese was melted and tasty. It came with a delicious Thousand Island Sauce. 10/10 2nd the Mac and Cheese. I see why it is Award Winning. It was truly perfect. It was flavorful, Ooey Gooey, cheesey. It had little pieces of bacon in it that was divine. The bread crumbs on top were tasty and toasted to perfection. 10/10 best Mac and Cheese I've ever had, and I've had a lot!! Last but not least the Parmesan Truffle Fries. The Parmesan on the fries were jus a little to salty but still overall great fries. I didn't taste any truffle at all. It came with a Garlic Aioli sauce,. which was bad in my opinion. I couldn't taste any garlic and it had a little sour taste to eat. Fries 8/10 Garlic sauce 2/10. Shout out to the Chefs/Cooks in the back, they did amazing. The presentation was beautiful. Every thing that came out of that kitchen looked Amazing. Shout out to my Waitress Natalie she was awesome and very nice. Publik House 9.5/10 Sauce Game 7/10. Portion game 10/10 there was enough food to feed 3 people. Price game 10/10. Especially for the amount of food you get. They are 1 of my top 2 best restaurants I've been to.“

“My recent visit was a journey of mixed experiences, but one thing stood out: the exceptional service. The atmosphere is undeniably intriguing, setting the stage for a memorable dining experience. The energy in the air adds to the overall ambiance, making it a place worth exploring. Our server was the true highlight of the evening. They went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction, making the meal truly enjoyable. As for the food, while it didn't quite reach the heights of culinary excellence, it certainly had its moments. There were some dishes that impressed, though none left me speechless. One minor letdown was the cheese accompanying the pretzel. It arrived slightly colder than expected, and the texture was not quite up to par. However, this was a minor hiccup in an otherwise enjoyable meal.Surprisingly, the root beer stole the show. It was an unexpected delight, adding a refreshing twist to the dining experience. In summary, Obed & Isaac's offers a unique atmosphere, exceptional service, and food that, while not mind-blowing, still manages to satisfy. With a few tweaks, it could easily become a go-to spot for a memorable meal out.“

“One of the best-kept secrets in Peoria! The atmosphere was wonderful, and the service was the best we've experienced anywhere in the area or for that matter anywhere. And the food? Phenomenal is the only word that comes to mind! This may sound crazy but the scalloped potatoes were simply fabulous. My Delmonico steak... I've eaten at restaurants that charged 5 times the price and I'd take this steak over theirs hands down. My wife had the wild boar and she raved over it. I simply cannot recommend it enough.“
“First time here, came highly recommended. Food was outstanding! Cream of mushroom soup was the best I’ve ever eaten! Heard people raving about the lamb sandwich, will plan a day to Peoria on a Wednesday so I can try it very soon. Keep up the great cooking!“

But they was under easy. Bacon ? was cold, toast didn't come with the meal. Waitress was too busy talking to friends. Just don't go!“

“This may have been the best fried tenderloin I’ve ever had! Husband had a burger which was good also! The chips are waffle chips and very yummy! I got my fries well done and I usually don’t like thick fries but these were actually really good! Highly recommend. We got it to go which was good because it was very busy inside. I’m not sure how we’ve never tried this place before as my mom lives less than a half mile from here but we will definitely be back.“

“We’ve driven by this restaurant a few times and finally had a chance to stop in for a Sunday breakfast/lunch. Absolutely LOVED it. We had a Jr Tenderloin, salad bar, and an Omelette. The portions were huge. The food was quick. Tasty is an understatement- Scrumptulicious would be the way to describe it if that were an actual word. For this cafe it should be. Friendly staff. Good atmosphere. Very glad we stopped in and will definitely be back!! Very affordable as well. Well done Missy's Corner Cafe team. You guys nailed it!“

“Perhaps the best place in the area to get a burger but they have soooo much more than burgers. Pizza, salads, wraps, Giant baked potatoes, great sides and tons of Beers, whiskies, ciders and cocktails. Great staff, friendly atmosphere, good prices, all around fantastic. Definitely recommend.“

“I have eaten here many times for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. My favorites are anything on the breakfast menu, the onion rings, and liver and oinons. I never have enough room for dessert, but their list looks wonderful. Last night we stopped for dinner. I had liver and onions. For $10.25 I had a bowl of stuffed pepper soup, 2 slices of liver with grlled onions, fresh steamed broccoli, baked potato and a roll. Everything I ate was delicious. Wed nights is chicken night and Fridays is fish night. Try them out if you haven't. Great food and friendly service in a diner atmosphere. You can't ask for more than that in my book.“

“My wife was looking for a tea room in the Peoria area. In her search, the Emerald Tea Room came up. It was conveniently located in East Peoria near a few antique shops. It is open from 11 am to 2 pm Tuesday through Saturday. All of the food is made in house. The soups were excellent, great sandwiches, bread and desserts. It is family owned. The service was delightful.“

“Had grilled catfish and shrimp jook box. Owner may balk at grilling the catfish cuz it can fall apart on the grill, but insist on it. It was out of this world. Seasoning was Cajun style but not blackened, just great bit of heat. Shrimp cooked just right, rice excellent too. Really enjoyed it.Hard to find though, winter entrance is back corner of building facing both Walmart and Landmark, 4 glass doors labelled "Premier Event Center."“

“Food is consistently good. Always such a great experience with either Mallory or Mary as your servers. Two of the best servers in the Peoria area at any restaurant. Had Mallory today, she is always upbeat and so friendly, & attentive…and it’s with all her tables not just us. You leave with a smile because of her… she spreads happiness and joy and who doesn’t need that in this world!? Again the food is always good but the service with Mary or Mallory is the draw and that keeps us as regulars. Thanks ladies for keeping us coming back and smiling.“

“Had brunch today with my family of 5. First time visiting, as we live out of town. Everything was wonderful. It was very busy, which indicated a good sign for us as we walked in. We didn’t wait long to be seated, the food was great, and service as well. Will definitely come back if we are ever in the area again! I ordered the pork tenderloin sandwich, which my server recommended when I asked her opinion between a few things and I’m so glad she did because it was one of the best I’ve ever had!Kid-friendliness: My children felt very comfortable in the atmosphere!“

“The food and service were excellent. I've never had a bad experience at roadhouse. My only criticism this time was the music seemed unusually loud. We were there at the dinner rush so the loud music caused conversations to be loud. It was just noisy. But not a problem. Definitely not a deal breaker for a great steak and fall off the bone ribs.“

“Was really good but for one person that gets a double cheeseburger a fry an a small drink to cost 17$ is just crazy as well as the fry was literally the smallest fry ever. I won't be going back. Sorry but straight ridiculous then to leave a tip na it was a one time occasion.“

“Went with some friends on Wednesday night for Wing Night and was not disappointed. Ordered 10 mild wings that were crispy and had heat, but not much, and that's how I like em. “The Wednesday special of 20 wings for 13 is amazing. Can get bone in or out.. Will even bread them either way (if wanted).Their house dressing (don't know flavor) is my favorite. Don't normally eat salad but do eat theirs..Always get served by same person and she is best part of going there.Have had their large ravioli and it is one of the best Italian meals in Peoria area. The lasagna was one of my GF favorites. They also have fountain diet mountain dew. Which is only soda I want..Price is little more than Avantis but the servings are much bigger (besides the all you can eat).My favorite Italian restaurant in Peoria area. They have gluten free options. They have coke productsThere are lots of tv's with games on them. They have a gaming area for gambling,We enjoyed our food.“
“Best wing spot in the city. They always get the perfect fry (IMO hard/crispy and still juicy inside) that stands up to to sauces and doesn't get soggy. They have the most sauce and flavoring options available in the area. All that I've tried have been really good. They have classic flavors like mild, garlic parm, lemon pepper and they have really creative combos like jun jun and vaya pickle ranch. They fry a good fish too. Call in orders can be busy sometimes and may take a few tries. Pop in to order if you're in area, they're pretty quick.“

“Did was burnt and cold. Had black stuff floating in my hot water. Paid $3.50 for a cup of hot tea. Only got one cup cause waitress never came back and checked on us. There was only 4 other customers in restaurant. She stood by another table talking to them the whole time . Plus she was on her phone. Then when I paid the cook came out and asked how the food was. So I told him and her. The blamed it on the cook that was there on shift before. Neither one could take responsibility for their mistakes. This was just before midnight 4/17/24. It took us over 40 minutes to even get our food.“
