“I've been to the Lazy Dog a few times now and the food has been very good. The drinks quite good as well. In fact, has the Tequila Old fashioned tonight ad it was was amazing, truly one of the best. Maddy was our server this evening and she was was exceptional. Super attentive, friendly, and knew all the items very well, Maddy was great!!”

“We had a wonderful dinner at Prairie Grass Cafe. The spring rolls were loaded with delicious perfectly cooked shrimp and the accompanying sauce (sweet chili with garlic and cilantro) plays nicely with them. The flounder with roasted carrots and parsnip-potato purée was as delicious as it looks. It was generously portioned and beautifully plated. We also enjoyed the mussels with parsley, shallots, and breadcrumbs pasta. My husband is Sicilian and it reminded us of the pasta con le sarde that we love to have in Sicily. The mussels were plump and delicious. The wine list is very nice. We found wines we really enjoyed and they were reasonably priced. We enjoyed the Attems, Pinot Grigio, Friuli, Italy ‘22 with our mussels and flounder, and the Fritz Haag, Riesling, Germany ‘21 with our pumpkin pie for dessert. Service was perfect.”

“Went to Little Louie’s on a whim and we loved it. We got a Cajun wrap and cheeseburger with fries. All of it was out to the table very fast and it was excellent tasting. We aren’t from the area but it will be a place we stop at when we come back thru for sure”

“Went in with my family and tried Korean food for the first time and didn’t know what to order. It didn’t matter, the food was too good and our server was very hospitable. Left him a good tip and it’s well deserved! Definitely would recommend 😁”

“One of the best places I've eaten from in a good while. The servers were very attentive. Management came out to check on us, which always nice to see. It was our first time here and it seemed very family friendly. There is outside seating! The food was pretty good. I was there on a double date and everyone enjoyed themselves. We will definitely be back.

“It's a good casual place. The pizza reminds me reminds me of a deep dish crust but with all that extra breading. Loved the pizza but I've tried millions of places; it's great and food came out extremely warm and mozzarella sticks were tasty and crunchy but it was extremely mind blowing but it was good”

“This restaurant has the best rose tteokbokki I've ever had! The bulgogi and ramen are also delicious! The staff is very patient and will guide you through your menu selections. If you don't like your food too spicy, they will also adjust it to your liking. Very cute spot. Wonderful for date night.”

“Solid 4 place. Its weird when restaurant's main dish is their name of business and other dish is better...
Like I tried their selleongtang, and this time, their galbitang and bossam.
And their bossam is the best dish for me.
I think the price plays into this factor and also, when you have legendary restaurant in same city that is known for sellongtang, aka Hanbat, its hard not to compare.
Hanbat is much cheaper and better taste.

Galbitang, I also prefer the taste of Joongboo, its more savory and cheaper. Piece of this wang galbi has more aesthetic appealing, but little meat, harder to eat, contains more fat.

Bossam on the other hand, was very nice and good price also.”

“Overall food was really good. Some apps not worth it for portion size/taste. Sushi was good but a bit lackluster. For this vibe and place of "chicagos first sushi" i was expecting a bit more flavor/presentation but still tasty. Drinka were good but thw bottles of sake seemed way overpriced. Service was great too. A little disappointed that i had included that we were celebrating a birthday and our table candle wasn't lit and no treat or little dessert was offered for the birthday person at this type of restaurant.”

“We appreciated that the tasting was quick, and that they were very thorough about what the reception venue would pay for, and what we had to cover. They were very knowledgeable about what cake options were best with the different fillings. There were lots of options to choose from, and our guests were very happy with the way the cake turned out. It tasted delicious! We highly recommend the Baking Institute if you are looking for a wedding cake venue.”

“I have had cupcakes and other treats before, but this was my first time ordering some - a custom-made pumpkin pie without clove. My mom always made it without and I never could bring myself to like it with. Well, I took one bite and it tasted so much like my mom's pumpkin pie that I almost cried. She passed away last year and had actually not cooked for a couple years beforehand. This really hit me very unexpectedly! Thank you so much to Ashley and her wonderful team at Punky Cakes.”

“The food there is absolutely amazing, and the owner and the staff are very friendly. The owner is very sweet and greets and tends to the food himself. I have not once had a negative time, and I go there super regularly. He also volunteers a lot, which shows that this is a community-based restaurant, and I love that. Fantastic food and even better people with big hearts serving you. I recommend their jjambbong, and their happy hours are lit! Reasonable prices a great time.

“We came from Minneapolis to Chicago and it was one of the first places we went to eat, because it was close. But everyone was super friendly and the service was good.

The rice and beans are more or less, but the rest is delicious. Especially the huaraches. So like the name, I recommend the huaraches!!”

“It’s a great go-to place where I often pick up on Tuesday nights. The food is ready 10 to 15 minutes after I order it over the phone. The lady who takes the order and gives me the food to-go is unfailingly pleasant and always smiles. We love their Mongolian beef, and enjoy their egg rolls, hot & sour soup and wonton soup. Never a bad meal. All delicious with generous portions and a fair price.”

“My fiance and I were in the mood for pizza. I've seen positive reviews for Mario's so I thought we'd give it a try. We went there tonight. What can I say? The reviews were not wrong. :) . We got a 14 inch all sausage and spinach, half onion and cheese sticks. It was all so good. The pizza was delicious! They have a few tables to eat in and they also of course offer delivery. We met Ted, the owner, and he's a really great guy. The lady who took our order was great, too. We definitely will be back or do delivery. Thank you!”

My husband said “these are amongst the best ribs I’ve ever had”. The Greek chicken was amazing. The food portions are more than generous. This will be our Friday night go to place for sure! The staff was also so friendly!”
