Everything is made to order so it take a minute however it's worth the wait. I had the small catfish and wing dinner, comes with 4 wings and a fillet. The batter on the catfish is nice and thin just melts in your mouth and the wing fell off the bone. I would definitely check this spot out if you're in the neighborhood and in the mood some Harold's. It's a clean and plenty of seats to grab a bit.
Honest review: It's a chicken and shrimp shack. Don't expect a fancy, chandelier hanging 5 star dining experience. The service was good. Then again, she was only taking orders at the front register. Now, if you only want great fried chicken or shrimp, this is the place. Great food. Try it.

The majority of food is fried. The chicken was good but my fries were very undercooked. The spicy sauce was very good. The staff weren’t that friendly or at least don’t seem to care to be there. The place could definitely be a cleaner. The floor and tables were greasy but you may expect that when they are frying food all day.Parking: Parking is limited in downtown Oak Park. Definitely take the first spot you find even if it’s a block away.
