“Outstanding soft serve and hand-dipped ice creams with too many choices and great prices. Tiny place that deserves a ton of love. Really great smoked pork bbq sandwich. Generous helping & so delicious. Service fast & friendly. Prices very reasonable with quality product. Lots of locals in line and in drive through. Pizza was pretty popular, but was a 30 min wait (super hot day). Happy to find this great little gem.”

“Great place to stop and gas up, get food and little gifts. They have breakfast, lunch items such as pizza, potroast, burgers, and salads and soups. Dont forget about desert...the ice cream bar with make your own goodness! They also have a cinnebun stand. Cant miss that spell when you walk through the door. It is exit 206 on highway 74...near the Indiana border of Illinois. Gas prices are cheaper there also!”

“One of the best subways I've ever been to. The two girls working we're absolutely incredible and super polite. The sandwich was absolutely delicious and they even took the time to wrap napkins into the sandwich something I've never seen before and completely awesome. I recommend this place to anybody.”

“I don't normally write a review on fast food. It's pretty much all standard and you know what you're going to get. This one little hardy's out in the middle of nowhere at a truck stop is the exception to the rule. I kid you not out of 20 years. This is the best breakfast biscuit I have had. I got their double sausage no egg cheese biscuits. It tasted like they used to twenty years ago. Everything about this thing was fresh. The biscuit was not barter overcooked or hard. I don't know if they have a new cook or if they've reset their company standards. But go there before they change anything and get a biscuit for breakfast.”

“My wife and I had double cheeseburgers. I had fries my wife had onion rings. The burgers were huge and good but could have used some spice. The fries were almost Shoe string which were OK but I'm not a fan. I prefer steak fries. The onion rings were very good. I would go again.”

I love the fact that they know most of their customers by name, and always give a smile…which helps when you are having a bad day.They have punch cards too which gives you a free drink or shake after so many. “After driving all night we ended up at the next town over. This came up as a great breakfast place with major home cooking. The reviews did it for me. We were the only ones there about 10 on a weekday. I got the standard breakfast eggs OE, bacon, hash browns. I had a taste of a most delicious meat omelet. I loved the salt and pepper stand and huge bottle of ketchup. On TV was a local morning show, kind of like TC Live. A sister combo running the place, one cooking and one waiting tables. They loved that we were from the Twin Cities driving to Nashville to a book event. If you are just passing through, do visit the cabin for an awesome home cooked meal. You really do feel like a guest.”

“We were traveling across the country and had lodging in Danville. Rich's Family Restaurant fit the bill! We ordered from the senior menu (limited dishes) and I got 2 large pieces of fried perch, the salad bar, mixed vegetables for $12. A bottle of beer (Bud) $3. Great service. Breakfast all day.”

“Was spending the night in Danville and wanted pizza. Looked online and decided on Indian's due to the reviews and the fact it was a mom & pop place. Ordered a small , thin crust, loaded pizza. They said on the phone they were known for their thin crust. It was delicious. Thin, crisp and held up under all the toppings. My wife had a chicken Parm sandwich which she really enjoyed. For dessert we each had the cream cheese pie, one with cherry topping, one plain. All the taste of cheesecake without being as heavy or dense. Sorry I didn't take pictures before we devoured it. If I'm ever back in Danville I would definitely order from them again.”

“Food was good. Tacos were ordered and the food tasted well... Not out of this world but decent compared to other locations that have tacos. The meat could have been seasoned a bit better and cut up a bit better but sauce was on point. Service was spectacular. Recommend and for the price it was a nice afternoon date.”
