Excellent food. Great staff. Charming place. This has been a favorite of mine for more than 20 years. It continues to offer high quality food and great service. It's a lovely drive down from Rockford, too.
Old world charm, in a quaint, old style Italian restaurant. The menu is straightforward, the specials are always changing, and the food is always incredible. I recommend the house dressing on the salad, and all the pastas are stars! But if you can get there when they have the Steak Pizzaiola, it's worth it!Dietary restrictions: I have on more than one occasion seen them make a fresh sauce to accommodate alcohol free, or other concerns!

We had just finished church, and were looking for dinner. We hadn't been to La Vigna in a while, so we thought we'd go there. This place is south and around a mile east of Oregon. If you don't know where it is, use your GPS and you'll find it. It's a quaint location with low ceilings, good smells and good food.
