“Walking into the shop will remind you of Willy Wonka with treats from floor to ceiling in every shape, size, and type. My favorite is actually their donuts (cider spice in the fall in particular). Always a great place for your Valentine gift or basket for friends or clients.“
“Wonderful location with very courteous and friendly staff. Store Manager On Saturday morning was wonderful. Our Girl Scout Troop did a cookie booth there and he checked to make sure we were doing well and everyone was so welcoming. We have a choice of Dunkin Donut locations and I will be choosing this one every time!“
“Diving into my local Dunkin' Donuts feels like stepping back in time to 2006, with nostalgia in every sip, albeit tinged with a bit of modern-day frustration. While the place holds a special spot in my heart (shoutout to my friend who used to work there), it seems the art of client service got lost somewhere between then and now. The order dance is always a two-step: one forward for the freshness of their goodies, one back for the mix-up that inevitably follows—thanks to a language barrier as wide as their menu. And let's talk price: it feels like my wallet's on a diet, especially when you stack it up against Tim Hortons. But hey, not all is lost; when they do fumble, it's usually like winning a small lottery of extra donuts or an accidental upgrade. Pro tip: enunciate like you're ordering through a megaphone.“
“These politics out these dangerous times in the world. We need unity not division in this day and age. People should enjoy donuts and coffee in a non political environment. I suggest that the owner of this establishment should tell the person who put up several Israeli flags to remove them. The donuts were excellent and the customer service was great. I do not feel comfortable going back to this establishment who obviously promotes and supports a political agenda. Let's stick with good food and great customer service this is a winning mix.“
“I am sharing this review on behalf of my mom who experienced the best service, tastiest hamburgers and freshly baked Lemon Blueberry Scones. She and her friends play cards every Saturday, most times after playing they go out for dinner; they have tried the location in Itasca for breakfast before cards, but they wanted to check them out afterwards for a burger. They called ahead to see what time they were closing; the person who answered said they were getting ready to close but offered to stay open to make some burgers for them, they placed their order ahead of time so not to keep the staff stay open any longer, when they arrived the burgers were coming off the grill. She commented how the burger was just the right size (she is not a fan of thick burgers), her friend asks if they had any Lemon Blueberry Scones available; they did not but had some scones prepared for baking in the morning and decided to bake off some for them as well. My mom purchased three! I believe the one who serviced them was one of the partners, she invited them to come play large enough to seat the teams and decks of cards nicely. Service like this goes way above and beyond the norm these days, she said she was going to tell her friends about this experience and are plan on meeting there for breakfast before playing cards next week. In this day and time, it is nice to see others care for our seniors with care and respect. It will go a long way... So, if you have never tried Joe Donut in Itasca for their cake donuts, or breakfast or even the hamburgers for lunch - this reviewer would recommend you do so... you will not be disappointed; especially when it comes to their service. Thank you, Joe Donut Itasca, for staying open for some hungry seniors and accommodating them and making them feel welcomed, she was so excited to tell us about her experience; I wanted to share it with you!“
“First time to try Wheeling Donuts today. Oh.My.God. Fresh, delicious, soft, great variety and fantastic prices! This place is better than places like Stan's Donuts. They need to get credit for being an amazing donut shop. Hidden away in a strip mall. I don't want to tell anyone because it's my best kept secret right now but they deserve your business. Just excellent.“
“I can't believe this place has been here all this time and I only just found it. Best donuts in the area. If you just like donuts, this will certainly satisfy, but if you're the foodie type, you can tell from the flavors, presentation, and balance that these are made by people with culinary technique. Theyre not just dropping dough into a fryer. Very good and will be back.(anything less than 5 stars is a hater)“
“This place was great. We stopped in this morning I had the green bowl & the Oreo donut. I have no idea how he got the bowl of the base so light & airy. Normally bowls are dense, it was not at all, I really enjoyed it. Husband got the peanut lovers shake. It was all so good. It was filling & satisfying. The setup is great, loved the post it note wall. The owner was super friendly & welcoming. He said he’d been in business one year, hope he has many more years of success. He has a great shop.Dietary restrictions: I’m soy & dairy intolerant & there were plenty of options on the menu for me to enjoy.“
“Neighbor family here and we’ve been multiple times during the soft opening and have loved it! My son and I love the brown sugar tea. And my little one can’t get enough of the donuts. They’re not your typical donut so don’t expect that. They’re sooo much better. They are a bit pricy but that’s expected: donuts are hand rolled! Totally plan on returning multiple times! Great addition to our neighborhood!“
“Spunky Dunkers Donuts isn’t just a donut shop; it’s a Palatine staple where every donut is a piece of local treasure. Their donuts are simply the best, bar none! The kids and I have made it our Sunday morning ritual to dive into their delightful treats, and it’s always a blast. Even with a line out the door, the wait is a small price for such big flavors. Do yourself a favor: try the Old Fashion! It’s a game-changer. Spunky Dunkers is the go-to place for anyone seeking donut perfection.“
