I recently had my gallbladder removed, so I have been on a restricted diet for the past 4 months, and really struggle finding food I can eat at restaurants...until I discovered the chicken pita from Photos! It's an excellent low fat option, (2 for 1 on Sundays), and still tastes like you are eating a cheat meal! “Try either of the hot dogs. My favorite was the Whoopskidawg. My husband liked the Superdawg better. Great place for trying authentic Chicago food and the history is great and atmosphere was so fun! We tried 2 types of beer also and they were very good with the dogs. Oh and a chocolate malt for dessert was nice to take on a walk by the river behind the restaurant.“
“It's been awhile since I've been in the area. Had to stop out. Layout is the same. The place remains under the same owner as far back as I can remember. Staff is very friendly. The food is delivered quickly, the portions are above average in size, and they even do stuff like serve full pickle spears instead of cheap thin slices. Overall a solid entry into a pretty competitive market (Lake Zurich). I'll be back soon.“

“I have been going here for a few years now. I Wasn't one for doing reviews, but I decided I will start with the places that are exceptional. Scooby is small inside, but everything about the food is worth it. The fries are amazing, once I tried the ribs I had them straight for the next 5 times I went in there. Pete the owner cuts the ribs in individual pieces then puts them on the grill to crisp them up, OMG fire! I am also addicted to the strawberry shake.“

“Was in the area and had to make a stop back to Mochinut. The flavors this week looked really good. I love the texture and chewiness of these donuts. They are light and not overly sweet. We enjoyed the original glazed and churro at the store. My sister was expecting the glazed to be a sugar rush. But to her surprise it wasn't too sweet, but perfect! She had her first mochiball and loved the strawberry filling. Great little after noon treat to enjoy with hot tea on this frigid cold weekend!“

There are quite a few menu options.I with with a Chicago dog, fries, and drink and it was less than 10 bucks. You can't beat that.The fries were cooked enough to not be wimpy, another few seconds in the fryer would have been perfect. Well seasoned, and you get a huge order.The dog was perfect. I'd put it up against the more well known places in the Chicago area. Bun was soft, seasoning spot on, and the veggies fresh.“

My favorite out everything we ordered was definitely the Chubby Pug the bbq sauce takes it up a million notches. The Chicago dogs are really good, if a place can’t make a good Chicago dog DONT GO. I will say the Mac n cheese could definitely be taken up a few notches, not much flavor. Definitely will be running back to this place to try more! “If there was an option for 4 1/2 stars that would be my actual rating. Got a double cheeseburger with fries and root beer. Everything was great except one tiny problem... No bacon!! Only thing better than a greasy burger is a greasy burger with bacon! Just my opinion. All in all, great job! Fast and friendly service. Will definitely be back.“
“Place is exactly what you're hoping for when you go to one of these spots. Cheesy beef was the definition of cheesy! Finally a place that don't just give ya one layer there had to be 3-4 layers of cheese! And the tuna melt on a hot pita oh my goodness nicely mixed and fresh topping and veggies. This is definitely a good place and you can hear the guy at the counter addressing "Billy" so could only assume the man the place is named after is back there working love to see it“
