“Build your own bowl: start out with a base including purple rice or sweet potato noodles, can not decide? Go half and half.chooese a protein from steak, Korean BBQ, chicken, spicy chicken, or tofu. Extra protein is only $3 (perfect if you are splitting a bowl - which you could easily do). There are seven veggies, including kimchi, scrambled eggs, and cheese to add to your bowl, top it off with one of 6 sauces. Pineapple and avocado are premium toppings at $1.50 each. I found the Korean BBQ tender and flavorful. The broccoli is oven roasted, bringing ou the nuttiness. Seriously, two people can split a bowl or plan on lunch tomorrow. ? On the beverage station is a crock of hot Miso soup, it is included in with your bowl. I found the soup needed salt.“

“Food is delicious, but on the more expensive side for breakfast. Service once seated and fast and great!However, they will not seat out if you do not have your entire party ready. And EVERYONE will ask over and over if everyone is there and demand it. If they are not counting the amount you had on your reservation, they will rebute it against you. The asking and verifying the party can be done in a more respectable manner.I understand that they want to turn the tables as quick as possible, but the customer service can be applied to make it less aggressive.“

“This place was AMAZING!!! The waitresses and waiters were extremely polite and helpful with anything you requested or asked. The Food was DELICIOUS!! I would highly recommend eating there and tasting their amazing Calamari and seafood soup!! Actually it may not have been soup but the juice of the meal which was Mussels with some vegetables in this phenomenal juices. “Our wedding cake turned out absolutely STUNNING and delicious. We received so many compliments on our cake because it was so good. It was definitely the best cake I've ever had. It was so fresh and turned out absolutely beautiful. They made the experience of designing our cake so easy and I trusted them throughout the whole process. Such a timeless design and the size was absolutely perfect. They exceeded our expectations and we will be going back for other goodies and may make it a tradition to order a cake for our wedding anniversaries. Highly recommend!! “

Wow Atmosphere!We were in a rush to get to the DMV after a quick breakfast, and Egg Harbor delivered with the excellent service by Liliana!We were in and out (on a Tues. morning) within 35 minutes. Everything tasted great, coffee to go and take home containers were thought of in advance! However, we ate everything and didn't need the containers after all. “We have always gone to Lou's in Lincolnwood, but had family in town and Buffalo Grove was closest for them. what a difference, place was huge and the parking lot was great. It will be our new location for sure. Service was just ok. It was a Friday night and busy so the staff was not very attentive but the good is great so we can deal with that“

“This is my favorite place for frozen yogurt. Over the past 10 years I've visited many locations, all of which started to decline and inevitably close (Glenview, Park Ridge, Deerfield, Mount Prospect). Schaumburg has been the most consistent location over the years. Algonquin was always pretty good too but my last visit the froyo was watery. I know there are Bloomingdale and Downers Grove locations but I haven't been to those. The location is very clean and although there are typically kids running the locations, the store is always well kept and the toppings station is always full and clean. The froyo is always great, and they always have good flavors. Their machines are typically full. And like I've mentioned always consistent. I've been turned off by other froyo shops where the froyo is priced by the ounce and the froyo comes out of the machine like frozen or watery slush and just a small amount weighs a ton, so you're paying more for less, not to mention not enjoyable froyo. The Schaumburg location the consistency of the yogurt is always spot on. It's never watery, too icy/slushy or bland. I truly believe this location takes pride in their shop. I hope they stay in business forever!“

“I've visited this place a couple of times now, and it's become a favorite spot close to my house! The atmosphere is welcoming and cozy, perfect for relaxing or catching up with friends. I particularly enjoyed the almond croissant--it was delicious! The beet revival was also refreshing and a unique twist. The atmosphere was hectic and a bit loud on a busy Friday night, but as it got later into the evening, most of the big family/friend groups left, and we had a delicious intimate meal. The waiter was attentive and realized we wanted a slow, relaxing meal and followed our lead. Scallop appetizer, soups, and steaks were amazing. Did not care for the potatoes au gratin, which is a dish I usually love and was looking forward to. It had no flavor and almost tasted plastic. Our waiter brought me the mac and cheese, which had more flavor, and I happily finished. We have already decided to go back again in the fall and not let another 6 years go by until we visit again.“

“If I can give this bakery 10 stars I would. We ordered two birthday cakes/pastries here for my daughter's birthday. My sister in law loves ordering here for her party and that was when I tried their cakes and oh my goodness, It was one of the best cake I have ever had. Its a little pricey but Its so worth it. My whole family enjoyed it when I served the cake for my daughter's birthday. I will definitely be back. Highly recommend this bakery for quality and taste.“

“So right off the bat, if you like ham in plentiful supply, this is your spot. Pretty busy suburban joint, good for a variety of breakfast items. What I would recommend is anything with ham. I don't know if they have a pig farm in the back but these guys load your plate with ham to the point that white flags come out and pants get unzipped. I had the omelette (with ham, obviously). It was tasty - but the egg ratio to ham was too little. Next time I will, and would recommend the skillet with scrambled eggs. The omelette was super thin, where is the scrambled eggs that my friend had seem more proportional dish . Service was OK, not great. Coffee was not bad, also not great. Fresh squeezed orange juice is lights out though, so I would definitely recommend that. I will definitely go back, just a little bit wiser this time .“

“This place has special fish Fry during lent. This is a cute irsh brunch spot normally. They had a lot of st paddy's day themed things but I passed. The good. Coffee with actual cream not the pre package junk. Great coffee service as well though it would be nice to add this to the waiting area. The staff was great aaa all the way. The omelets was good, fairly fluffy and a good balance of fillings. The average The pancakes were good not great. I may try some specialty cakes next time. The bad Well good place equals wait time on the weekend. Not sure if that was real maple syrup, if it was it was not the best. The side of potatoes while generous, had little to no flavor. Had to salt and pepper the heck out of them, and just left them in the end.“

“Our son, Parker has worked at Nekter for almost a year now. He actually loves working there, and that’s all you can ask from your 18-year-old son. Loren and Brandon, the owners, really care about these kids and the same with the quality of food they make fresh every day. Having a son who works at Nekter has also afforded us the opportunity to try virtually everything on the menu. Yes, we are real customers but mostly we just love healthy food that tastes really good. If you’ve ever had a smoothie from a chain place, you’ll instantly know the difference. Our favorite things are their Chia pudding w pumpkin and a Popeyes Açaí are ridiculous. “I had Chicken Piccata. It was exactly how I love to have it prepared (no breading). The lemony sauce was so perfect, I almost asked for a straw to get it all! (I didn't). Service was timely and made us comfortable. From the the Server to the busers. (Sp?) The space is quite compact. No one was jostled but it was a bit noisy for us. “Busy, but quiet little restaurant. Bread was served hot. There was oil, parmigiana cheese, butter, salt and pepper for the bread. Sausage and pepper appetizer was full of flavor. Soup was good. Chicken parmigiana and chicken linguini alfredo were fantastic. I left the restaurant wishing there was more pasta. Not that there wasn’t enough on the plate to begin with, I just wanted more.“

“I came here to visit a friend on a Wednesday. We got seated right away. I've been to other Egg Harbor locations, but not this one. It has the same decor and vibes as the other locations. I got the San Antonio Skillet, which was great, but I wasn't super full afterward. Also, our server did not come to pick up our check after a while, so we had to go to the front and pay. Overall not a bad experience.“

“Organic Rootz is such a piece of sunshine in Barrington! Delicious smoothies and bowls, i've yet to try their food items but i will be sure to try them soon. “It's a sports bar with good and we are not into bars or sports...so the atmosphere isn't our preferred space- but the food (especially chicken limone) is fantastic.We prefer the onion rings over the toasted ravioli. Not because the latter is bad, we just prefer the rings. Since we're not bar folks and don't drink alcohol, sometimes it feels like service pays too little attention, but not always. That depends on the night and the server's.“

What set this location apart for us was the service we received!I’ve never had issues with service in the other Chicago land locations but this one was exceptional!My biggest issue is I didn’t get her name and the receipt was tossed.Food was hot, delicious and the meal was well timed.Drinks were a good pour.All in all a good location for your next dining experience.The only negative is the $2.45 charge on our bill. When I questioned it she said she would remove it. It was as she explained a “Covid menu printing fee”. Enough is enough with the Covid Bullshit. Ask them to remove it and they will.“

“West Town Bakery opened another location! They have branched out to the suburbs and created an awesome space with a connection to OKAY dispensary. This place is awesome. The bakery continues to impress and by the way has the most FABULOUS gluten free selections, I LOVE the cake balls! There is also a very cool inviting lounge attached to OKAY which I highly recommend visiting as well. Now I hear they are expanding and opening a new location in Evanston in early 2024, can't wait to see that. When I first tried them, I had never had anything quite like them. The confetti and the chocolate chocolate chip flavors are my absolute favorite, but to be honest, you really can't go wrong with any of them. They also have flavors, such as red velvet, lemon, carrot, Reese's chocolate peanut butter, and more. My favorite part of these cakes is that they have the most flavorful and smooth cream cheese frosting. When walking into this particular store, it is always clean and the workers are friendly. It's important to note that this is not a full-service bakery, but they specialize in just bundt cakes. As a result, they sell bundtlets, which are mini bundt cakes for $5.50 each, or you can order them in a tower. They also sell 8" bundt cakes starting at $29 or 10" bundt cakes starting at $39 that can come in a bakery box or wrapped in cellophane. They also have customizable cakes that you can have decorated with specific themes. Being someone in my late 20s, it's been extremely trendy with my age group, especially for everyone's baby showers and wedding showers. Overall, I highly recommend it! You won't be disappointed.“

“My husband and I went there for a special anniversary celebration in September 2023 and loved it. Hadn't been there in a while and they did not disappoint. The weather was nice enough to sit on their patio - just a few sprinkles, but we had an umbrella over the table. Beautiful view of the golf course. Our server (Ally) was excellent and the food was delicious. My husband had the "porterhouse" pork chop - huge and perfectly cooked! I had one of the best petite filets I've had in a long time - so tender and flavorful. They gave us a free dessert for our anniversary - amazing limoncello shortbread cake with blueberry chambord sauce. Wow!“
