Yes there are new owners and it’s a new restaurant now BUT they definetly give you a taste of home. The owners were so nice to us and it’s family run. I think this will be a new up and coming hole in the wall spot very soon! They treated us like family and made sure we were well fed. The service is still being worked on. This is all new to them DONT be afraid to ask for more sides/sauces/veggies etc. they’re not mean about it or stingray at all. I can’t wait to come back...read full review
The owner of the shan grill is very nice person. He is very hard working and will always do his best to fulfill your requests. The food is amazing and he also makes food on requests also if thats not part of the daily menu. Not a great place to sit and eat but definitely very good food for take out. This is the closest and only place near Palatine IL that has Naans else, others are 12-15 mins away from palatine. I definitely recommend this place. And would like to support this...read full review
Shan's Grill is FREAKING AMAZING. The owner is seriously the nicest man you will ever meet, he bends over backward to make you happy and to meet your expectations, and he truly has the finest Indian cuisine on EARTH. You're wasting your time going anywhere else for Indian food, because Shan's is like the Cullinan diamond of this kind of food.
