I drive all the way from Darien to get there sandwich. Started going there 45 years ago and then I moved and came back and the original location was closed and I thought that was it. About 5 years ago while on Facebook I saw and add for Peppo’s. I was thrilled to know that they simply moved. Best sub sandwich you will find. I love subs and no one beats peppos

I have to admit that my wife and I kinda forgot about this place. There subs are fantastic and the secret topping is to die for.Hungry? Stop by for a totally unique treat.Kid-friendliness: The lady that took our order was very nice and she told us that she had been employed there for 17 years. Said a lot about the company I believe

Best Sandwich around the Palos and Orland Park, IL areas and beyond!!I normally will get a wrap or opt for a bowl to be healthier! Also get it with olive oil!!! ?The Chips, homemade cookies, and some Ice Tea pairs perfectly!Frequently will come for lunch with my crews. There are sandwiches and there is Peppos. Let's talk ambiance of this original place of delicious architecture. Upon entering this spacious restaurant that can seat parties of over 30 people comfortably (I only say this because I wish I had 30 friends and lunching alone makes the space seem even more grand). Although the space is pretty huge for a deli spot, the staff and owner makes everything feel so cozy and warm. The decor is simple but branded smart with definition of proud craftsmanship when it comes to deep roots of family created recipes that leave you salivating for GUTS!!! GUTS...you have to have it to not request it on your sandwich. No way can you deny the GUTS! WHO THE HECK COMES TO PEPPOS AND deny GUTS? the lady ahead of me in line with an Afro so big I couldn't see the menu. Not that I needed to...I want pastrami, mustard, Swiss and GUTS...ALWAYS! I wanted to shout to the lady...hey! You have to get the GUTS...otherwise...go to Arby's up the street with those bland a$# taste buds... Since being loud in public is frowned upon...I kept it to myself. PEPPOS is my fave place for gutsy reasons...tell the owner...60465 Clarissa said it for a small discount on pop and chips....

Didn't realize until I was miles away that I was given a smaller sandwich than what I ordered. $16 with tax for a smaller sandwich.

The best sandwich I've ever eaten at any location across the United States. I travel 40 weeks out of the year and I've never had a sandwich as good as this one. Not only do you get great quality ingredients with the staff is awesome including seeing the owner making sandwiches back there. They also have a great place to sit and enjoy your lunch. I highly recommend if you're anywhere near this location to stop in and try one of their sandwiches.
