“I was having a conversation with a worker and noticed her using lots of organic ingredients and real Himalayan salt... this sparked my curiosity and I started paying attention to the food she was making ... I decided to buy lunch here after initially just grabbing my first ever coffee at this coffee shop .... to my surprise that dragon berry fruit bowl was absolutely amazing. I have never been to a place that uses clean ingredients like this. This was a great experience. 5 stars!”

“I'm very impressed with Ardor Breads. This old building used to be a plumber's office/store and they remodeled it into a nice restaurant. I came in for breakfast and sat near the counter, where I could see all the beautiful/tasty items coming out fresh from the kitchen, and I was truly amazed at all the delicious looking food. Nice crowd in here and many others were seated at tables outside. Place was packed! I loved my Zucchini Omelet with fresh orange juice. Staff were professional and very kind to me. “These tamales are seriously the best! Every year we eat tamales for Christmas, and we’ve ordered from a few different places that were good, but these are beyond any of the others. They taste and remind me of home! I highly recommend snagging some! So good!”

“I can't say enough about Saffron Social! The food was phenomenal! We had the appetizer special - deconstructed sushi of lump crab, mango and cucumber - a delightful combination of goodness! And our main meal was also a special - lobster and scallops with a wine sauce over spaghetti. Could not be any better! Perfectly cooked and excellent flavor. The ambience was super stylish and our server made it extra pleasant! Oh and I can't forget the delicious smoked old fashioned. The cocoa bitters and maple syrup made it stand out! “Best fried rice in the area with a lunch special that can't be beat. It's affordable and like any respectable chinese restaurant, they give you a lot of food. Like many restaurants, there are many things on the menu that are not outstanding, but the fried rice is very good. It's a little dingy, seemingly unclean, but let's be honest, these are the types of places that have the most flavorful food. With two brothers there to run the business every day with a rich history and a smile, this is a true hole-in-the-wall hidden gem.”

A gorgeous little boho paradise with great food (the vegan tagine and broccoli and Stilton soup were delicious), and a warm and friendly welcome from the owner and from Xena the dog. It’s a long way from home, but hopefully we’ll be back!”

“I've had one bad experience here with one older Mexican woman at the end window handing out the food. The young guy that took my order put in my husband's frappe as a coffee by accident and when I brought it to the lady's attention she said sorry, then went on with her business as if I had to keep the mistake. I got her attention and told her that it was for my husband and he wouldn't accept anything else besides what he wanted! She tried to blow me off again, so I sternly told her that I needed the right drink! That if it has been for me I wouldn't care really but it was for my husband to take to work and then I sat there until she went and got a manager that was a little rude herself and I let her know if there was a difference I'd pay it just fix it please and she told me I had to give back the mistake coffee as if I was trying to get over, which I gladly gave her and I finally got what I came for. Other than that I have enjoyed the rest of my drive thru runs. Everyone since has been very pleasant and professional, mistakes have been resolved promptly, food has been hot and properly made and I haven't had any missing items or sauces thus far, and when asked to pull forward and they will bring something out to me that's being made, the wait time was really no time at all! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK PLEASE!”

It was an actual channel catfish, cooked with the most perfect crust that was not at all grease on it, the salad had the freshest salad greens, slices if cucumber, and tomatoes, with delicious croutons. The cole slaw is made there, is creamy, and I fell in love with all of it. The owner is a perfectionist and the food is too quality! I have not found anyone else in Peoria that serves this quality of food. I will be there at least once a week! Highly recommended!!!!!!!!!!”

The collard greens were seasoned the mac & cheese was Fresh warm and cheesy and oh yeah let’s not forget the sweet potatoes brought me back to how my grandma used to make them on Sunday afternoon after church so I would recommend this restaurant five stars.”

Despite the problems outside their control, the food has always been excellent and I have to give shout outs to Tim and the rest of the crew. I eat there practically every day for a quality meal for a low price. $8 for a big ol' double cheeseburger is well worth it. Definitely stop by but try to find a time that isn't peak rush.”

“We were excited to try Pizza Ranch while visiting Peoria, but our experience fell a bit short. A very large party arrived around the same time we did, and the buffet couldn’t keep up — fresh pizza went quickly, and we had to wait quite a while for new ones to come out. What was available didn’t sit the best with our stomachs afterward.

The price felt a little steep for what we actually got to eat, especially with several items missing. They were completely out of napkins, spoons, and even the cones for ice cream, which was disappointing since that’s part of the buffet’s draw. The staff seemed overwhelmed but were doing their best.

It wasn’t terrible, but definitely not the experience we were hoping for. Probably wouldn’t go out of our way to return.”
