Wonderful service, food and atmosphere. Our server Karen, was not crazy - she was attentive and carried a wonderful conversation with my husband and me, even with the age gap. We will definitely be back when the weather gets better so we can sit on the patio and walk around the park.

My husband took me here for our Valentine’s Day date this evening. It was my first time experiencing Cyds and they did not disappoint! I ordered the crab cake. It came with roasted Brussels sprouts and a beet salad. It was phenomenal and filling! The service was on point and the waitress was friendly. The atmosphere was chill with friendly staff. There aren’t a lot of places you go to and have the owner introduce himself to you. It was an all around really great experience! I have already requested that we have my birthday dinner in April at Cyds so we can enjoy the outdoor seating.

Went here for Valentine’s Day. I really loved paying for the $135 fixed price limited menu that we were not warned of when putting down a $50 down payment. There was a whole three options and only one had a $15 upcharge! The salad was so good with a whole 5 pomegranates! The pears were so good we couldn’t even eat them! The rice bowl had rice! So glad we chose to spend our evening here!

Can't say enough good things about the food here. Just unique enough to be interesting but familiar. The service could be quicker, but usually I go during a rush and it seems like only 1-2 waitstaff are on duty. The drinks are incredible. Oh and I love the building, very mid century with a great view of the park.

Their Facebook says they are open pretty much all day on Saturday. No other information about the kitchen being closed or specific food serving hours. Walked in with my wife and 16 months old at 4 pm. We go early because we have the little guy. We're immediately told they won't serve food until 5, but we can wait and have a a couple drinks for the next hour.Good idea, I'll wait at the bar with an infant. If you're going to have special food hours, how hard is it to let your customers know that? The answer is it's not.

Holy shrinkflation Batman! This used to be my favourite place in Peoria. Now, they have less choice and the food is just not as tasty. I guess that's ok, as the portions are smaller too. Such a shame. I got the bolognese and the garlic bread was bigger than the actual dish. And the chocolate cake is less than half the size of the portion back in the fall. We won't be coming back for the food unless things change. I do still like the ambience so this will be a drinks in the summer on the covered patio. I sympathize for the loss the restaurant suffered and hope you can find someone just as amazing to turn things around

Enjoyed a terrific dinner on the patio and for all the negativity regarding the service, our experience could not have been better. The Chicken Marbella and Crab Cake entrees were delicious which were complimented by the beet salad and cheese appetizer. Great craft cocktails and a good selection of beers on tap. We enjoyed the casual ambiance and friendly, attentive server. Looking forward to a return trip during summertime to take in the outdoor atmosphere.

Had dinner here with my wife. The appetizer charcuterie board was an amazing value and excellent. The whipped brie with honey was a highlight.The wife had the beet salad that was expertly balanced, I had the autumn bowl which was delicious and perfectly captured a nice winter day.Desserts were chocolate mousse which was rich, delicious and enough to split, and the wife tried the holiday log which was the same.The atmosphere is cozy, and comfortable. The wait staff was attentive and outgoing. Will certainly be back.
