Just got home from taking my Mom for hip replacement at Proctor. What a lovely experience! Shout out to Kerry and Jessica and Kristin and a few others I don't remember their names. So sorry! EVERYONE was SO nice and helpful! Y'all are awesome!!
This little snack shop is located just off the main lobby of the hospital. It is run by the "pink ladies" who volunteer at the hospital. They are known for having the original recipe to the famous Hunt's Restaurant ice cream sodas. Hunt's is long gone but their amazing ice cream sodas live on here. Chocolate, strawberry or my favorite, vanilla! Give them all a try!Tips: Cash only but there is an ATM down the hall. They are only open until 3 pm during the week. Be patient!...read full review

I like Proctor Hospital, I have only been to the Midwest Ortho wing, so all my comments are about them. Overall, the Nurses and Supporting staff were awesome. They took care of all my needs, answered my questions, and even tried to laugh at my comments.The Doctor did a great job being professional and direct at answering my questions.
