“I was having a conversation with a worker and noticed her using lots of organic ingredients and real Himalayan salt... this sparked my curiosity and I started paying attention to the food she was making ... I decided to buy lunch here after initially just grabbing my first ever coffee at this coffee shop .... to my surprise that dragon berry fruit bowl was absolutely amazing. I have never been to a place that uses clean ingredients like this. This was a great experience. 5 stars!”

Hummus was some of the best I’ve eaten, all 3 meats were cooked to perfection, salad was crisp and fresh. The 4 sauces that came out first with pita bread were very flavorful. The owner is super nice, I will be back. 5 stars!!! This restaurant came highly recommended to me by several people, I now know why. Keep up the great work!”

“I'm very impressed with Ardor Breads. This old building used to be a plumber's office/store and they remodeled it into a nice restaurant. I came in for breakfast and sat near the counter, where I could see all the beautiful/tasty items coming out fresh from the kitchen, and I was truly amazed at all the delicious looking food. Nice crowd in here and many others were seated at tables outside. Place was packed! I loved my Zucchini Omelet with fresh orange juice. Staff were professional and very kind to me. Before leaving, I bought a few beautiful pastries that I saw in the window. Great breads, pastries, & food! I'll be back! (2024) 🥚🍳 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

The items were outstanding, there was no food left within an hour or so. We have even ordered appetizers (chilli paneer and cutlet). We are planning to try Goat fry briyani next time we visit. Overall we did like the food and will be visiting more often.”

Like many restaurants, there are many things on the menu that are not outstanding, but the fried rice is very good. It's a little dingy, seemingly unclean, but let's be honest, these are the types of places that have the most flavorful food. With two brothers there to run the business every day with a rich history and a smile, this is a true hole-in-the-wall hidden gem.”

“We stopped in on route from Derby to Chard, having found you quite by accident on Google maps. What a wonderful surprise! A gorgeous little boho paradise with great food (the vegan tagine and broccoli and Stilton soup were delicious), and a warm and friendly welcome from the owner and from Xena the dog. It’s a long way from home, but hopefully we’ll be back!”

“I've had one bad experience here with one older Mexican woman at the end window handing out the food. The young guy that took my order put in my husband's frappe as a coffee by accident and when I brought it to the lady's attention she said sorry, then went on with her business as if I had to keep the mistake. I got her attention and told her that it was for my husband and he wouldn't accept anything else besides what he wanted! She tried to blow me off again, so I sternly told her that I needed the right drink! That if it has been for me I wouldn't care really but it was for my husband to take to work and then I sat there until she went and got a manager that was a little rude herself and I let her know if there was a difference I'd pay it just fix it please and she told me I had to give back the mistake coffee as if I was trying to get over, which I gladly gave her and I finally got what I came for. Other than that I have enjoyed the rest of my drive thru runs. Everyone since has been very pleasant and professional, mistakes have been resolved promptly, food has been hot and properly made and I haven't had any missing items or sauces thus far, and when asked to pull forward and they will bring something out to me that's being made, the wait time was really no time at all! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK PLEASE!”

“As a person that grew up on this type of food. this is the most authentic and most savory food in the area. the rice is very good and when u get the mixed grill, the kebabs melt in ur mouth delicious. the falafel is the most on point in the area of peoria. even the sald is soooo good!!!!! the kebbah is seriously the best I've ever had. the shawarma is so good it just makes u wanna come back for more. Food and Coffee is Dunkin quality and nothing to really complain about nor praise to the end of the earth, but I still really enjoy it personally. Only thing a little different about this location is their seating area is shoved into a tiny corner where there is no real space to sit. Went here on a date and found myself taking my date to my car right outside so we would not feel squished in with a father and son eating.”

I got the pulled chicken, collard greens, macaroni and cheese and let’s not forget the sweet potatoes. The chicken was moist. The collard greens were seasoned the mac & cheese was Fresh warm and cheesy and oh yeah let’s not forget the sweet potatoes brought me back to how my grandma used to make them on Sunday afternoon after church so I would recommend this restaurant five stars.”

Depending who was working the counter I would get charged differently each time. $5.66 one day or $6.77 the next. I asked one day and was told I was being charged for the half and half. Ok fine, BUT today I go there and order the same drink and they wanted to charge me $7.00 for a 16oz??? Starbucks and Dunkin charge $4.49 for the same drink and size. I go to CXT to support local. But today was probably my last day. The gentleman today fixed me up and I was charged $5.00. I think you Managers better circle back because no one will pay $7.00 for a 16oz iced latte.”

“I went for lunch today and had the catfish, dinner salad, and Cole slaw. It was an actual channel catfish, cooked with the most perfect crust that was not at all grease on it, the salad had the freshest salad greens, slices if cucumber, and tomatoes, with delicious croutons. The cole slaw is made there, is creamy, and I fell in love with all of it. The owner is a perfectionist and the food is too quality! I have not found anyone else in Peoria that serves this quality of food. I will be there at least once a week! Highly recommended!!!!!!!!!!”

“We were excited to try Pizza Ranch while visiting Peoria, but our experience fell a bit short. A very large party arrived around the same time we did, and the buffet couldn’t keep up — fresh pizza went quickly, and we had to wait quite a while for new ones to come out. What was available didn’t sit the best with our stomachs afterward.

The price felt a little steep for what we actually got to eat, especially with several items missing. They were completely out of napkins, spoons, and even the cones for ice cream, which was disappointing since that’s part of the buffet’s draw. The staff seemed overwhelmed but were doing their best.

It wasn’t terrible, but definitely not the experience we were hoping for. Probably wouldn’t go out of our way to return.”

I've had quite a few spaghetti's and baked mostaccioli dishes at other restaurants, but Avanti's by far has the best pasta sauce around making their spaghetti and mostaccioli mmm mmm good. Sad thing, I moved to Kentucky and for 2 years have gone without their spaghetti. Recently I took a trip to Peoria and of course I had to stop off at Avanti's and bought back spaghetti's and of course it didn't last that long lol. I've never had their gondolas, which they're famous for, but I do love their bread. I wish there was an Avanti's here in Kentucky. Thanks for the great food
