My SO is from Chicago and is a pizza snob. Lou's is the only local place we have found in the area that he will agree has good pizza. Service is always excellent as well.

Called an order in for delivery, girl on the phone completely turned me off to the place. Absolutely did not want to be there. Very short over the phone, very unenthusiastic, kind of rude really. I don't normally complain, but this was just bad service...
Still the same place I remember 20 years ago , and as always my favorite pizza so far and I've been back multiple times in the past few decadesParking: There should be no problem with pining parking not only are there parking places up to a block away but there's always nearby parking placeWheelchair accessibility: There shouldn't be a problem with the wheelchair access here it's not very difficult to bring someone in with the wheelchair because most of the entrance way and restaurant are at street level

Love, love, love this place. I have been going for years, I live an hour and a half away so don't get there often anymore but really enjoy it when I do. The menu looks awesome as did the food being served around us but I always get the la grotto garlic nuggets and deep dish pizza.

5 stars all the way around. They were down staffed due to sickness but those who were there working were on top of it. Food was great like always! My fan favorite is and forever will be the garlic nuggets and any deep dish they make.

Worst delivery ever. We had bad experiences before with delivery and quit ordering decided to try again and once again worse delivery service. Was 40 mins late and forgot half the order. Waited a other 50 mins for the other half of our order to arrive.
Amazing! Everything looked good, but I had them make a pizza I enjoy... hamburger, no sauce with French dressing to dip. So delicious. The staff is great, very friendly and prompt. Clean restaurant with some balls on the ceiling of the bar!

Great food, great prices, great atmosphere, great service! I’d say this sums it up! We live an hour away but had been hearing about this place recently and decided to check it out. Well worth the drive! There’s some unique specialty pizzas on the menu and if you like cheese, this is your place. The deep pan was delicious and so was the thin crust. Again…they use LOTS OF CHEESE! Exactly why we came here and will be returning. Too many other pizza joints skimp on cheese, but not Lou’s! Staff was super friendly, quick service and the chicken wings were also delicious! We had the chicken fajita pizza on this crust and supreme on deep pan. We’ll be back again soon!

Came to to refuel after 7 miles at Starved Rock and it was just as great as I remembered it! Great way to cap off the day with my daughter. The food was excellent (loved the wanton’s stuffed with bacon, jalapeños, crab and cream cheese!) and , of course the deep dish did not disappoint! Wait staff were wonderful as well! Friendly and attentive! Thank you for helping with making some dad daughter day memories!

We've ordered from here many times in the 16 years we have lived here. And when we have family members who visit from out of town who have never had REALLY good pizza, we order from Lou's. On Friday, 10/20/23, we were having guests arriving at 7pm. At 5:30pm, I placed an order online to have 2 pizzas and an order of garlic nuggets delivered at 7:15pm. (with tax & tip the total was nearly $75). At between 6:15-6:30 there's a knock at the door. It's our order practically an hour early! My husband starts blaming me until I show him the confirmation email & screenshots of the order. But instead of calling to complain, we decided to just keep it warm in the oven on around 170°. It worked fine..... to keep it warm. Around 7 we opened the box on the MAIN pizza everyone wanted and all the toppings had slid off the top! On top of that, the crust wasn't done! It was still raw. Thank goodness I'd ordered a 2nd pizza on a whim! When I called to complain, I was given credit "for it being delivered early but not for it being undercooked because we ate it." Uh, well, no, actually we DIDN'T eat it. I tried to "rebake" it the next day and just wound up with a burned bottom and gooey dough. They wouldn't even tell me over the phone how much credit they were going to give me. There was no immediate credit off my credit card just a "credit of 'some amount' on my next order. It will be written down in 'the book'." If you eat here DON'T order delivery! You may get crap and they won't stand behind it.
