We enjoyed every bit of the Manchego Caesar salad, Butter Chicken Bowl, and Pistachio Crusted Salmon. The Bread Pudding for dessert was divine. We'll definitely be back for more!”

“Went for dinner, the location is perfect, very walkable, the building is gorgeous and the decor is tasteful. Ample beer selection and cocktail choices. Got the Mexican steak special with rice beans and pepper sauce. The steak was perfect, not too fatty, moist, perfectly grilled and seasoned. The tortillas were fresh, soft and warm.The rest of the food was disappointing, the beans and rice were cooked well but were completely flavorless. The sauce that was supposed to be made with peppers and spices was completely void of any flavor. Considering the price of the steak I’d choose something else.

“Our family dinner of 25 people was absolutely wonderful! Reserving space and ordering a buffet was very easy. The staff assigned to us made sure that the food was brought out in a good flow for our group and that everyone from the three year old to the grandparents had everything they needed. The space set aside for our group gave us plenty of room to catch up with each other while filling plates. I can’t say enough good things about the food - the taste was delicious with plenty for everyone plus some to take home. And to end the evening, the owner stopped by to see how everything was and to congratulate a newly engaged couple! It was just like having your family over at your own home with the benefits of wonderful chefs and staff!”

There is a choice of 3 sauces: Garlic, Sweet and Mixed. We went with sweet and it was good. Sweet, but not too sweet. They load up the pizza. It’s very hearty and thick. Very similar in thickness to Beggar’s Pizza. Nice to add another choice for pizza locally. Very good and highly recommended. Enjoy!

“I had an Iced Chai latte two mornings in a row. They were both delicious! I did also have the Candied bacon, egg, gouda cheese ciabatta roll with maple aioli. I would suggest to Krema that they make a notation on their menu that the maple aioli is SPICY! I do believe they said they add cayenne pepper. I am very sensitive to spicy and had I known I would have declined having it on my sandwich. 10/10 would recommend this lovely spot.”

The Food is pretty good. It is a small menu though. Waitresses are usually very friendly and helpful. Especially Amanda, she is my personal favorite.

“Went Into the store on Saturday night, While sitting down enjoying the wonderful ice cream the staff closed the inside portion and when I asked why they said that they were very short staffed and would only do drive though for the remainder of the night. We were one of the last ones allowed inside before they locked the doors. The staff was great, friendly and never flinched at being under staffed. I would have never known had I not asked if they were closing early. They did a fantastic job of maintaining a very professional and courteous demeanor. Great job to all of the staff and the management on that night. Will definitely be returning”

“The History on Wheels hosted its annual Juneteeth celebration at the Joliet Area Historical Museum on Wednesday, June 19, 2024. We used Mama Sarah's Kitchen for catering and the food did not disappoint! Chef Arron Sain has magical hands!! We had fried chicken, fried catfish, baked salmon, collard greens, baked macaroni & cheese and cornbread. For dessert we has cheesecake, pound cake and banana pudding. Everything was so flavorful and delicious. My mouth waters as I think about the food. So many compliments from our guests about how the food was. Truly outstanding!! Thank you Chef Arron for your amazing service and delicious food! We will be having Mama Sarah's again!”
