“Went for dinner, the location is perfect, very walkable, the building is gorgeous and the decor is tasteful. Ample beer selection and cocktail choices. Got the Mexican steak special with rice beans and pepper sauce. The steak was perfect, not too fatty, moist, perfectly grilled and seasoned. The tortillas were fresh, soft and warm.The rest of the food was disappointing, the beans and rice were cooked well but were completely flavorless. The sauce that was supposed to be made with peppers and spices was completely void of any flavor. Considering the price of the steak I’d choose something else.

“This is one of my families favorites. I am not as mich of a fan just because I am limited on what I can eat (keto). There are not very many keto options but either way everyone is always happy with the food and service. We ordered online and picked up last time and everything was fresh and hot. “Very nice place to enjoy talk with friends. One exception. Recently a sensitive person couldn’t handle what others talk about. Nothing dirty or nasty. That sensitive person is the type that wants to hamper free speech. While she can have freedom of acting like a clown in public. Some of us served this country for her to be in public like a clown. If any talk of ban free speech ,it would take aw half the customers. I know it is hard when some sensitive people want to restrict others and act like a victim. “Excellent pizza! Crispy cracker-thin crust with good sauce. Was a little cheesy, but next time will order with light cheese like we did for our second pizza. There is a choice of 3 sauces: Garlic, Sweet and Mixed. We went with sweet and it was good. Sweet, but not too sweet. They load up the pizza. It’s very hearty and thick. Very similar in thickness to Beggar’s Pizza. Nice to add another choice for pizza locally. Very good and highly recommended. Enjoy!

“Great spot for breakfast! We stopped in when not too busy. They were easily able to accommodate for gluten free for an omelet with fresh cracked eggs when not sure on an ingredient. Really appreciated Griselda’s thoroughness in checking with the kitchen. Service was attentive and very friendly. All our food was delicious. Hubby loved his French toast combo and side of biscuits and gravy.”

“Went Into the store on Saturday night, While sitting down enjoying the wonderful ice cream the staff closed the inside portion and when I asked why they said that they were very short staffed and would only do drive though for the remainder of the night. We were one of the last ones allowed inside before they locked the doors. The staff was great, friendly and never flinched at being under staffed. I would have never known had I not asked if they were closing early. They did a fantastic job of maintaining a very professional and courteous demeanor. Great job to all of the staff and the management on that night. Will definitely be returning”

“The History on Wheels hosted its annual Juneteeth celebration at the Joliet Area Historical Museum on Wednesday, June 19, 2024. We used Mama Sarah's Kitchen for catering and the food did not disappoint! Chef Arron Sain has magical hands!! We had fried chicken, fried catfish, baked salmon, collard greens, baked macaroni & cheese and cornbread. For dessert we has cheesecake, pound cake and banana pudding. Everything was so flavorful and delicious. My mouth waters as I think about the food. So many compliments from our guests about how the food was. Truly outstanding!! Thank you Chef Arron for your amazing service and delicious food! We will be having Mama Sarah's again!”

“How often does one take time out to write a review for a Dunkin’? I’d venture to guess not often. But if there’s one branch of Dunkin’ that deserves a review, it’s this one. Bobby and his team at Dunkin’ are BEYOND amazing! And I’m not just speaking from my experience but from my observation with the team dealing with other customers. They remember names, they remember orders, they’re all polite, and go out of their way..the customer service is top notch h. Even on the busiest of mornings, they’re prompt and on top of it…but honestly, even when a order has an issue, they’re apologetic and fix it - their customer service is remarkable. Furthermore, the other thing I love is that the store is ALWAYS clean! My mornings are pretty much incomplete without coffee and a “good morning HIra” from this team!”
