Will definitely be back this is my new favorite pizza place in Shorewood/Plainfield area. Great crust, sauce and cheese. “This place was awesome. Great burger and then had whiskey donuts. Wife took me there for lunch. Service was incredible. We had Hedia serving us. “It was a fun experience, no live band but the football game was great. Food was incredibly greasy and salty so I didn't love that. The service took a while but it was because of the game so a lot of people were here. Overall it was pretty decent.“
“Well, I recently gave a review of the new Craft'd location in Yorkville and said that they both had the same quality food. I decided to go back to the Plainfield location and... Once again I love their food!!! Both locations are great to go to. Their 2 foot Philly is 1 large lunch even for 2 people!“
“All I have to say is WOW!! The food was SO DELICIOUS! We orders a chicken strip/fries basket, meatball sub on garlic bread w/Mozzarella cheese, meatball sub w/ Mozzarella cheese, hot peppers, green peppers, tomatoes, and lettuce, Jalepino poppers, and fries mushrooms.Everything is cook to order. They have Pepsi products, iced tea, pink lemonade, shakes, malts, sundaes, and ice cream cones.The workers were kind and patient with us as we asked questions on their extensive menu. (All great choices! It was so hard to decide which items to try!)The parking lot is smaller, but an RV can pull in, park, and pull out as there are 2 enterences/exits.“
“I’m not big on reviews. I think I’ve given 3 or 4 reviews in my life. Place has to be one of the best BBQ joints out there. I actually hate brisket. Employee recommended it and said it was the most popular. I can’t believe I’m saying this but I loved it. Everything was fantastic to the spicy bbq sauce itself. Top notch. Highly recommend.“
“My Emplyee loves this place and always gets the Steak Tacos. I went today and had the Chicago Dog special as well as ordered a small chili. Not a “bean” guy on chili but…. Was great!!! I’m no chef but the ingredients tasted fresh and was great. Will order again (even with beans). Staff is great and let my dog inside (was out walking him when I stopped by). Loved it.And yes…. “This place was incredible. I don’t even know where to begin.Ambience was awesome. Very cool dark but warm welcoming vibe with some nice deco.Server was very friendly, recommended some stuff and also personable. His recommendations were awesome.Food was amazing. For starters I had the chips and dip and the Brussel sprouts. And omg I could not get enough. Brussels sprouts were cooked amazingly with some sweet chili sauce. Crispy and flavorful , they didn’t even need it. Chips were cooked to perfection and dip was some sort of French onion creamy dip. Quite a bit of food for a cheap appetizer.Main meal was awesome. I got their cheeseburger. But it wasn’t just a regular one it had cooked onions, their special peppery burger sauce, cheese and pickles. Double smash burger. Very big burger and super flavorful. Filled me up and was a high quality burger. I opted for their creamy mashed potatoes as my side and was not anywhere near disappointed. Perfect amount of saltiness where it didn’t need anything extra, and super creamy and great texture .For desert I went with the donut holes and coffee ganache dip. Incredible. The way the coffee was a bit bitter as a dipping for the cinnamon fried donut holes was chefs kiss. It’s hard to nail every course in a 3 course meal but they did it. “Stopped here on a Friday night for their all you can eat fish fry special. It was all you can eat but the portions are huge that we could not eat more than our first serving. We received two huge pieces of fried fish and a ton of fries. Battered fried goodness. Service was great. Will be back to try other foods.“

“Service is always great. Food has improved immensely over the last year or so. Now, the burgers also seem to have a new look, too. The presentation of a burger with a big ‘ol knife is much more stately than a burger wrapped in paper but it seems that was easier to eat with the paper for my table mate. The positive team atmosphere with quicker than quick service is unbeatable.Me, I ordered the wrap and it was pretty good. I like adding the sweet and spicey ketchup on it cause it really makes a good wrap truly shine.“
“I love this local BBQ restaurant. The restaurant isn't much to look at, hut the food is out of this world. I love the brisket and the pulled pork. The spicey sauce is excellent. Not too hot, but it has a kick. Very abundant sandwiches and sides.I have been to all 50 states, and this is my favorite BBQ location bar none. No big globs of fat on any of their meats. Pure yumminess!!!“
“Christin was and excellent waitress we never ran out of drinks she was very attentive and organized. Eric was an excellent waiter! He was knowledgeable and friendly.refills were plenteous. He gave us military discount which was very much appreciated. Food was delicious! My disappoint was the bathroom, wasn’t real clean but no Toliet paper was what put me over the edge ?. At least there was plenty of soap !“
“Stopped through the drive thru with son for quick dinner on our way to baseball practice. Sons food was good. My sandwich wasn't. After practice, I stopped to get a refund. Was given a refund, and the owner insisted on making a new sandwich. It tasted great! Great customer service!“
“I love this place! It’s so cute inside, in both the bar room & dinning room. I even had my shower here & the event space is just as cute & was done so nice. I’ve never had a bad meal or bad experience here. The spinach & artichoke dip is the best I’ve ever had. Their caprese Sandwhich & grilled veggie sandwich are my go-tos. They had a lemon sour beer on top sometime last year & it was fantastic. I always recommend this place to others!“
“Love the food there. Service is always good and nice atmosphere. The thing I like the most about BackRoads is they were one of the few restaurants around who ignored the fake pandemic shutdown. I go there 2-3 times a month and will always support them.“
