I came for an event hosted with Plainfield Library. Cute layout of pictures of Chicagoland concert venues. One side is the bar/Cafe while the other is the records and merchandise. Plenty of parking as it's located in a strip mall. One bathroom inside. They carry local craft beers. Fun coffee drinks too, but since I came in the evening, I didn't try any of those. Cute spot!

Black Dog Vinyl Cafe is easily one of the more unique places in the area. Their coffee menu is creative and has some unique elements making it worth checking out. The selection of records there for sale seems to have been curated in such a way that it should appeal to those who love to hunt down some cool wax. In the daytime, the place is very chill & relaxing, making it great to go in and get some work done remotely if you're able. With an alcohol menu & live music, this is bar none a really cool establishment.

Wasn't sure what to expect the first time here it was really cool!!! Some good music drinks you can order food from local places right across the lot or bring your own food. Now, to the WOW! factor of the night, this kid must me 12 or 13. I forgot to ask, he KILLED IT!!!! I'm adding a couple of his pics and info I got from his dad. Holden is trying to get into a music festival, so check out his info. Take a listen, and try to help the kid out! The songs are over 3 min, so I don't know how much will upload . ???

What’s not to love. Drinks and music.The vinyl is absolutely making a comeback, we’ve had our player for a few years now without many options to purchase, outside of the internet so I’ve only had a few options.This would be a fun date in the afternoon with your SO or your bestie, just make sure you grab a bite to eat on the way.There are also live music events, mainly in the evenings so check the calendar.Great spot with friendly service and massive opportunity to expand.

Ive only been here twice, but I love this place! Both times I’ve had the peach lemonade which is so so good, and there’s actually a lot of variety in vinyls, cds, and I think cassette tapes too! The owner, I think?, is so kind and patient as well; if you ever need a place to look around for some music or just a small escape this is the spot:).
