A unassuming facade in a strip mall turns into a Mexican fiesta once you walk through it's doors. Bright and cheery and festooned with Mexican tchotchkes everywhere, you are immediately transported to Cancun or, at the very least, 26th and California. We came to sample the tacos for a future gathering and were duly impressed. The ground beef and chicken tacos were my favorite, with the pork and steak in a close second. Surprisingly shrimp tacos were not offered. Bar menu was extensive, service friendly. Catering is available and will be called upon at a future date. The taco taste test passed. When it comes to the menu, you name it they have it. Lunch specials are special indeed. We will be back.

This place is unprofessional. Not open on a Saturday at 5 pm and they just put up a paper sign in the door saying, "opening soon". I will never be Making my way back to this restaurant

Nothing to write home about other than the nice and pleasant server we had, the hostess could be a bit more welcoming, especially since it wasn’t busy when we dined in. Don’t go thinking the food will be authentic, but the steak chimichangas were good for YT Mexican food (if you know, you know). The table had dried salsa on it and a paper silverware wrapper when we were seated, and the plate I was given had dried guacamole on it. As a former busboy/dishwasher in high school, I feel like those things should be done better as it is the first impression of a restaurant.

Love their food, they need to answer the phones. The number published on their website it out out of service and the alternative number rings then disconnects, this is my third time trying to order in the past few months. It’s a shame because their food is great and I live close. I feel bad leaving this one star review but hopefully their owner sees this because they are losing money.

Been in Plainfield nearly 2 years and this has been our favorite Mexican place. We're used to living 15 minutes from Little Village/Pilsen where we could get amazing Mexican food and so far this is the best place around here that's authentic. We usually get the same waitress and she is incredibly sweet!

Terrible customer service.I ordered a burrito with 3 ingredients. I'm lactose intolerant so I asked for chicken, avacado, and rice ONLY. The girl repeated it to me on the phone and I also asked when I picked it up if it was just the 3 ingredients. I get to my car and it has cheese, tomato, lettuce, and what looked like MAYONNAISE all over it.We went back in to show them the mistake and very clearly specified that I only wanted the 3 ingredients. I get home this time and under my 3 ingredients is a massive layer of thick cheese. At that point I just opened it up to eat the top ingredients and the chicken was dried out and extremely salty. All of my rice was stuck to the cheese so I didn't get to eat any of that.My husband's order had none of the ingredients he ordered in it. His tacos were just dry meat on corn shells. We will never go back and we definitely DON'T recommend this place :(
I had the rice and beans and 3 tamales 2 pork and one jalapeno and cheese they were the best tamales I've ever had!

We usually get the bistec a la mexicana dish with uber eats and the portion of meat that they put in the dish is literally like 3 pieces of beef. I mean seriously for a 17.99 dish you guys should be more generous.

Taco wasn't terrible but ingredients was definitely on the shorter end asked for sour cream and avocado on a few of the tacos and never received. Taco turned out to be more of a salad and the beans were watery. price was exponentially higher than anticipated roughly 5 plus dollars per taco we only ordered tacos (18) to be exact our bill was over a $100 There are a lot of good Mexican restaurants in Plainfield too wisely.

This place was really good pre covid, now the staff is really unattractive and barely comes to the table for refills. I usually spend about 70 to 80 here which is a lot for a small little dive. But now it really should just be a takeout place. Found fruit flies in the drink

The prices on the menue are incorrect. No one said anything about it. We ordered ground beef, received pork. Customer service was weak, unapologetic and offered nothing to make us happy. This use to be our favorite place. This is twice we are disappointed. Most likely will not return.
