Honestly our waiter was too “high class” for us, he acted a little too “ bougie” for us and you could tell. We are literally in Plainfield buddy. Gave my stepdad and I a bad vibe including our whole family. We had looked at a menu online before hand, therefore the menu had a kids meal on it. As well as said if there was 8 people dinning, there would be an automatic 20% tip added to our check. Therefore, there was 7 of us and was still added, as well as no kids meal??? My grandmother order fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp and broccoli added to it. You would think the broccoli would be steamed, and easy to chew. It was hard… She had brought it up to him, and he said if we wanted it soft we basically should’ve said that…. Okay. Not worth it tbh. Food was basic, expensive but honestly basic nothing special to it. Super loud. I’d rather go to Wildfire, with expensive food that’s worth the price. As well as the waiters and waitresses that give off the best vibes. As well as make you feel human too.

Let me start off saying not only I am Italian, make homemade pasta, I travel often eat Italian food everywhere… this restaurant does an amazing job on food & service. I have now come here three times Marcia is wonderful, Ray is great tonight Lindsey was our server she was excellent! All three know these dishes, recommendations spot on! Good runners, hostess and gentleman who fills out water very attentive dishes taken away, carry out containers with a bag before I even ask! Ok let’s get to the food…. Meatball appetizer great! It’s homemade meatball fried like us Italians do most meatballs you get are purchased frozen heated up(I also have many family members who own restaurants) calamari light, tender perfection! We have ordered ribeye vesivio style, chicken Parmesan, chicken Vesuvio, cavetelli in vodka sauce, chicken with artichoke & capers all dishes delicious generous! Cappuccino is amazing! This is how cappuccino is made not at the star place! Dessert o have had the tiramisu and carrot cake both phenomenal generous portions. The price point here is great, food hot! I live down the street and this is my go to now! Great job to all!!! Love this place

Fantastic Italian food. I love this place. You gotta get the flatbread margherita pizza as an appetizer. It's light and flaky, won't fill you up and it's delicious. The sauce is fantastic and the fresh mozzarella just makes the dish. And the raspberry tiramisu was friggin ridiculously good. The wait staff is very nice and attentive. Been there probably 10 times and have never had a complaint.Vegetarian options: Most pastas can come with or without meats. Several fish dishes.

Been coming here for years! Some of the best Italian cuisine around, and there are definitely more than a few options. Was going to Olive Garden on a Friday (out of towners choice, NOT mine) and they were way too full for a table of 8 at 4pm. Called here, they got us seated in less than 10 minutes. Love it!! Great staff, amazing dishes, great drink menu. Ambiance is soft but inviting and open. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed!

I grew up in Plainfield but family moved to Georgia 8 years ago. All our remaining family has since moved to Chicago, but sometimes we will still take the 1-2 hour detour when visiting to stop at this restaurant. Everything we’ve had has been great, but what draws us back is the mussels. It’s divine. Using bread to sop up the remains sauce really makes the cake. Love this place.
