Their thin crust is mediocre at best and forgettable. However, their famous deep dish is absolutely fantastic. It has a thick, yet incredibly light, buttery, and flaky crust that lets you eat a few slices without feeling like you have a lead balloon inside of you. This place is amazing! The owners are so kind and welcoming. They make you feel like family. The food is beyond tasty! The pizza is so flavorful and enjoyable. The crust is soft yet crispy with a light buttery taste. The side items are served hot and fast. I’m definitely going to frequent Luigi’s in Plainfield, IL.
