“Passing through Princeton on the way home to Naperville, we stopped at Monical's for pizza today. It was the first time we've been to this restaurant. I didn't realize it's a chain restaurant mainly in central Illinois. Walking into the restaurant there's an area where you order and pay for your food at a small counter. They give you a number and you go into the restaurant and choose your own seat. A staff member will bring you your order. My husband and I each ordered a small side salad, which was cold and fresh. It had cheddar cheese, tomatoes and carrots on top. My husband and I each ordered pizzas. He had a larger thin crust sausage pizza and I made my own small veggie pizza with spinach, mushrooms, and black olives. We ordered our pizzas to be cooked crispy. I like that they had a chart to show you the different levels of doneness on their crusts. The crust was cooked perfectly crispy when it was delivered to our table, just like in the photo. It was piping hot when it came to the table which I loved. I was so surprised how good this pizza was. I can honestly say this is the best thin crust pizza I've ever had. Tammy took care of us by bringing our food and drinks to our table and checking on us. She was very friendly and engaging. It was a pleasure to have her wait on us. I could tell she liked what she did and that she really cared that her customers had a good experience. She's a definite asset to this restaurant. I'd definitely go back if I was ever in the area again just to have this thin crust pizza. I recommend stopping at this restaurant and giving their pizza a try. You won't be sorry.”

“My favorite place to eat in the area, I don't just want tacos and burgers all the time! We usually eat inside and the food is so hot and fresh you have to let it cool down before eating. We've never had to wait very long. Can usually make 2-3 meals out of one dish. You can choose how spicy they make your food. I don't love the fried rice but to be fair I haven't loved the fried rice at many takeout places. It's typically better at exclusively eat in restaurants.

Almost every time we go some family doesn't know how to read a sign and doesn't clean up their table. I've never seen the staff be anything more than patient although that must be frustrating to deal with. They have free refills if you eat inside and all you have to do is take your own dishes to a tub instead of paying extra. It's not a difficult concept to me. You are supposed to put your order at the tablet but they always pay attention and help anyone who is confused or has physical difficulties.”

“This restaurant is a gem! Super cute interior. Menu is very diverse and has great options for everyone! The Spoons Cuban was delightful! My husband got the birria melt which he really enjoyed. Fries were fresh and well seasoned. Next time we are in town will visit again.”

“Our waitress was Stephanie. Without her, we likely would have walked out. We always have a nice time here, but this night a chef with 8 steaks appeared at what was already a full grill. Everyone was enjoying each other’s company when he pushed his way rudely between our group and angrily slapped his 8 steaks on the grill. The same chef that separated us, watched our bread that we couldn’t get to light on fire and burn. He was totally rude, and not enjoying his job at all, so everyone around him felt it. Thanks Stephanie for being considerate and respectful to us.”

“Thanks to an amazing staff and management. You have renewed my faith in humanity. Less than a week ago we were passing through on our way home from Colorado to Indiana. I left my wallet with cash, air pods, and our vaccination cards and didn’t miss it until the next day when I was home. I called and was told they had it and the manager would mail it to me! The next day I received a text with the tracking information and today I received the wallet with everything including the money! They didn’t even take cash out for the cost of postage! I will be donating the cash to a local charity. I’ve always been a fan of Jimmy John’s but this brings it to a whole new level. I don’t think I’ll eat at another fast food restaurant if there is a Jimmy John’s nearby. Thanks to all the good people in this world!”

“I prefer to dine in here. I have not had a good delivery service. Granted I have not tried delivery in more than four years. My last pizza had no toppings from Vitale's delivery. Sauce and crust. Cheese and toppings were wadded up on the side of the box. This time it was dine in. Not crowded which was nice. Locals enjoyed the establishment next door prior to dining next to us, but luckily the noise level didn't get bad. Quant little corner pizza joint. I like this small town business. Great food! ?

“This place doesn't take debit or credit but does have an ATM. Let me say I am picky about my serviceable my food because I do work in the industry so I know what is expected. This place is AWSOME!!!! the waitress was on It from start to finish. My food was cooked and delivered to the table in 10 minutes or less and it was super hot and fresh and the prices are reasonable as well for the portion size. Plus this place has coke products NOT NASTY Pepsi. I should have came here for the first place instead of going to BIG Apple down the street which was HORRIBLE DONT GO THERE.”
