I like the brightness of the new decor. The new menu threw us for a loop. Was expecting the same traditional German food they've always served but found quite an eclectic menu. Food was good but very disappointing at the same time. My lunch partner hates change and this was a big one. Wish the new owners the best of luck.
Nice cafe, taverna, restaurant in Rockford art district. Boutique menu and cocktail large beer and wine selection. A bit expensive and not really child friendly no children’s menu. But amazing covered outdoor beirgarten. Highly recommend for locals and travelers alike. The inside has a full espresso bar and super comfy and chic decor.

Absolutely love this place the food and beer are really really good. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming plus having the outside beer garden where you can sit and enjoy a nice evening is a fantastic addition to this restaurant.
