What I Tasted: The raw Yellowfin Tuna appetizer was incredibly fresh, complemented perfectly by creamy avocado and an order of half dozen plump and just enough grinny west coast oysters. For the main course, the buttery and succulent Chilean sea bass was cooked to perfection, nestled on a bed of risotto with a ting of sweet sauce that enhanced its richness. Dessert was a delightful classic crème brûlée, providing a sweet ending to a fantastic dining experience.? Standout Feature: Turlucks excels in the little details that make a big impact. From curated flavor combinations to attentive service and exquisite décor, every aspect of the dining experience is carefully crafted. Things you never would think of, and I never seen before, like the De la paix à la résistance, innovative backlit menus and thoughtfully designed lighting provide ease of viewing in lower light (or older eyes) and most of all elevate the atmosphere and enhance the overall enjoyment of the meal.⚠️ What Was Mid: While Turlucks shines in its seafood offerings, traditional steak and sides are good but may not always meet the same high standard. For the ultimate dining experience, I recommend sticking to their seafood specialties.

Had Truluck's San Diego on my list for years until they closed recently, so on a recent trip to Chicago I instantly jumped on a reservation seeing there was one near the airport. This place is perfect for special occasion, long dining experience or just treating yourself to top notch cocktails and food.We started with the Voila cocktails which were not just tasty but the whole smoky drink thing was right up my alley. Parker House rolls to start, we shared some of the pan seared broccoli as well. I had the steak frites, my colleague had the Salmon. Everything was cooked to perfection and robust in flavor. Zero room for dessert. The staff was great, our primary waiter sort of dropped the ball with us near the second half of our meal but I was watching him and I think he had too many tables, one which was a party of 7 so I did not go into 'Karen' mode on him given the prices we were paying here. He was doing his best. Okay so I had to use the restroom on my way out, and got a kick out of the mouthwash jug in the restroom. Never have I seen that in a restroom but nice touch!

Wonderful Place! Flavorful Cocktails, fine cuts of meat, shareable sides. I HIGH RECOMMEND the mashed potatoes topped with lobster, the whole table can share! I and the filet mignon, my wife had the blackened sea bass. We are sooooo much that we couldn't order dessert. Give this place a try. EXCELLENT FOR ANNIVERSARIES, and other special occasions.
Had dinner in the lounge area . Everything was great . Singer was great love her voice only problem was she ends at 9:30 . If she ended at 1030 we would’ve stayed and had more drinks . The bar did clear out once she left . Suggestion to management have the singers stay later on fri sat nights . Thank you

Truluck's was delightful. I used to go to the one downtown and loved it. I was only upset that they did not have Baked Alaska on the menu but they brought it to us because we were celebrating a birthday. Delicious!
Christi was fantastic! She described the menu item's well and walked us through our courses. Christi definitely made our night phenomenal! We couldn't have asked for a better experience to celebrate my daughter's birthday. Truluck's, you've gained more fans! We'll see you soon!

Waitress Sydney was very kind and helpful. I had crab claws with really good sauce. The lobster bisque was also quite tasty. I think bartender was Darsha with amazing drinks. The best part was the big lobster tail that was cut up table side , accompanied by mashed potatoes and asparagus. Of course part of food was taken home along with carrot cake that I enjoyed the next day.

App was small and not stuffed enough, one of the reasons why I put 3 ⭐️ instead of 4! The pianist had a nice vibe and great voice, the drinks were spot on. Will definitely be back, but I think I will ask to stuff my crab burgers and not over cook my steak. Yeah that happened too, I had a flight to catch so I didn’t want to say anything. But I think it might be worth another try¿

Upset that the downtown Chicago location closed!!! Was in the area for D&B next door and had to stop to get some food. Amazing atmosphere with the lady playing the piano and the server was amazing. Can't wait to come back to Rosemont and do another Impromptu date day!!!!

The ambiance, quality of seafood, and service is 5 stars at Trulucks? ?We started with the Florida stone crab legs and the crab cake, which was recommended from our server. They were both amazing, and the dill sauce that accompanied the crab cake was exquisite. We ordered drinks as well, and they have a beautiful drink menu and many zero proof alcohol drinks that are delicious. We ordered the jalapeño salmon, the three medallion fillets, and an African lobster tail for our main entrée. The salmon and steaks were cooked to perfection, but unfortunately, two out of the 3 fillets were tough, grisly, and chewy, not of great quality. The bernaise sauce that accompanied one of the fillets was overly salty to the point of not being edible. My suggestion is to only order seafood at Trulucks because this is what they are known for. Skip the steaks at this location.( you will be doing yourself a favor) We ended the meal with the baked Alaska dessert, and this was one of the best dessert experiences we have had at any fine dining establishment. The lighted menus were a perfect touch for such a fancy restaurant as well. ? ?
