“This place is pretty small, but the food is delicious. I am gluten free and I never have issues eating here. My husband and I recently discovered them and now they are a household favorite.Dietary restrictions: I have a gluten allergy and I have not had a reaction after eating here. That comment is clearly insane and looking for attention. Back to my review. The spaghetti with sausage is so authentic and delicious, the tomato bisque soup is clearly homemade and delicious! “Came with a party of 15 people. Half where children called ahead and they accommodated for us.Really enjoyed the tininess of the restaurant. Food was good. The server Robert was great. Price was a little over my comfort zone but what can you do ?‍♂️3 pastas split 6 ways. 4 where children. They accommodated with splitting plates. Honestly didn’t pay attention if they charged for splitting plates as a “service”There was nice baguette at the beginning and with the pastas you got a soup of salad. The minestrone soup was very nice !“

“We live 2.5 hours south of Lake Villa, but we were meeting some friends from Florida for dinner. They were in the area for their grandson’s graduation from Great Lakes Naval Academy. Found this place via Google and it had great reviews, with good reason. We wish we lived closer because it would be a favorite for sure. Probably the best bruschetta and lasagna I’ve had in a very long time. Everyone loved their entrees. We tried multiple pasta dishes and the pizza. Prices were very reasonable and our service was exceptional. Excellent dining experience all around. Highly recommend.“

“I recently went here with my family after a colleague of mine, recommended it. The first course that we had was calamari, and they were much larger pieces than I'm accustomed to, and the breading was a little bit soggy however, the second appetizer we ordered was clams, and it was absolutely phenomenal. The rest of our meals were outstanding, and we will definitely be coming back on a sidenote from a service perspective I came with my wife and three children, one of which is eight months old. “Loved SLYCE Pizza. My wife and I are big fans of coal-fired pizza. Where I'm from in the NYC tri-state area, the best Italian food is in neighborhood family tavern restaurants and those thin crust tavern pies are cooked in super hot ovens. SLYCE brings it all back. Quality ingredients, great suggested combinations, good service and pleasant ambience. There's a lot of pizza choices in Chicagoland and we drive 25 minutes to SLYCE. There must be at least 100 pizza joints in the 25 mile radius. I'll take SLYCE. Keep up the great work!“

“Beyond AWESOME!!!! I just found this place online and the reviews looked good so we thought we would try it. The menu is very appetizing. We ordered delivery and it was fast, the food was hot and the delivery guy was great. The food was SO fresh! The pizza was delicious, sausage is home made and it has great crispy crust ! “I called, placed my order and the Girl on the phone was friendly and accurate as to what I had ordered and she said my pizza would be ready in 20 minutes. I drove to my local Rosati’s in Lindenhurst Illinois 20 minutes later and picked up my piping hot thin crust, 4 topping Pizza! Everyone at the counter was friendly. I didn’t have to wait because it was ready as was promised and I was a happy camper! If you live in the neighborhood I recommend going there, you won’t be disappointed. Yummy!!!??????“

“They struggled with some quality and employees issues a while back but they have really turned the ship around in the last couple of months. The owner got rid of the bad workers and improved the pizza products significantly. Their thin crust pizzas are now the best in the area and rival many places in Chicago. A buttery crust is topped with delicious sauce and cheese. The oregano-leaning seasoning is just about perfect and toppings are fresh and tasty. The workers greet you and are very polite. They are now my go-to in Mundelein by a mile.“

There is another location only 9 mins away but We go to this one a good 20 mins away because of the quality and service.“

“Sweet Melissa's Pizza and Pub was a great place to stop for a beer and food. Inside was really nice with lots of tv's. Meatball Sandwich was a monster. I had to cut the meatballs in half just to handle it. Meatballs were just ok. Parmesan Fries, Italian Egg Rolls and the soup were all delicious. The Chicken Tenders were just average. Very friendly and professional staff.“

“My family has been going to Maciano's for the last several years and, while there have been a few hiccups in management since we first started going there, the last couple of years have been filled with extremely good service, and really tasty food. We haven't been able to eat in as much as we used to, but we regularly get the same order every Wednesday and being it home to eat while we watch TV. The portions are generous for the price and the food always tastes fresh. One of the best qualities of the food is that it warms up extremely well no matter what you're getting, so it makes for great leftovers. The staff there are also incredibly friendly, and even on very busy days with less staff, they always make sure to keep the customers satisfied.
