“Kenny, our server, made our wedding anniversary meal so very special. The steaks were amazing! Highly recommend the Baxters Salad too. The delicious and beautifully presented complimentary dessert (gooey butter cake) was so very appreciated and the time our server took with us to capture a great photo of the moment meant everything to us! Highly recommend this restaurant!“
“Pippa’s is one of the few remaining venues in Champaign that still supports live music. They deserve all the gratitude, in the form of patronage, that we can give them - especially on the nights that some of our amazing local musicians playing. Also, the staff is friendly and the drinks are very reasonably priced. The only catch with Pippa’s is that they are cash only so be sure to visit the ATM before you arrive (luckily there is an ATM on sight and a Busey Bank with an ATM about a half a block away).“

No regrets making it down here for a wicked night and Matt was rad enough to drive us back to our hotel at the end of the night when Uber let us down, but like don’t ask him to do that.“
“First time for me at Buford's Pub, my family had each been there before. My mom and I were greeted by a very friendly waitress and the bar dog. The bar was full, but she would get us a table as soon as she could. So we waited at the bar. We were still waiting for two others and not in a hurry. While waiting, we saw wonderful looking cheeseburgers going out to tables.It is a great bar with several tables and very friendly people. I and my mom ordered the breaded pork tenderloin- it was not only gigantic but delicious! My SIL ordered the half order of chicken nachos- it was huge! We were all surprised about the nachos. My brother ordered the Philly cheesesteak and it looked delicious.We sat and ate our lunch and had a great time!I will be back to try the cheeseburgers!“
