“Pleasant surprise - traveling through thought I’d stop for lunch. Good food made to order and ice cream at very reasonable prices. Had a big cheeseburger and ice cream cone that were much better than fast food. Friendly people working there - Inside seating area looked very nice though I took mine to go.”

“Was visiting down there walked in very nice quiet small bar on the corner. Old time which I like. The bartender who I forgot her name was very friendly very interactive made the experience amazing. “Our waitress was very attentive and patient. We came in with a party of 6 (4 adults and 2 kids) and she took us in her section without a problem (there was another waitress that would not take on our party when the hostess asked). She checked on us frequently, the food was great, and overall great experience.Edit: We visited last Saturday and I cannot remember the name of our waitress. She was an older lady with brown colored hair.”

“I was told about this place by my brother, who came across it, traveling home from a work trip. This is one of those "out of the way" places I absolutely love to find. We now live about 4+ hours south of Beaversville, but we happened to be traveling right near it on 57 today, and we could not pass up the chance to try it out. It was absolutely worth it. I was told the burgers tasted almost identical to a bar and grill my family, and friends grew up eating at regularly, which is now closed. (Shout out to Big John's bar in the town of Ohio, Illinois) Eating the cheeseburger in Beaverville was as close to a ratatouille moment as I have ever had. Grilling the bun is a must for a great burger. The rest of the food was very good also. The daily special items make it seem as though you would want to eat there every day. A very welcoming staff and a nice atmosphere rounded out a great experience. Every town needs a place just like this pub.Kid-friendliness: Kids were present and were eating with family.Parking: There are plenty of spots on the street.”

“I just dined at Momence Cafe for the first time after hearing so many great things, and was still so impressed by how good the food was!! I had an omelette, soup (which changes daily and is amazing) and the French toast and everything was PERFECT. And everyone who works there is so so kind. Can’t wait to go back and try more!!”

“Went with a friend for lunch. Busy place for a Thursday. Owner was tending bar and was very attentive. Talked us both into the daily special. Smash burger and sides. Burger had carmelized onions, two patties and cheese. Fries were small sized crinkle cuts. For $10 it was priced low in our opinion. Don’t be fooled by the exterior. Friendly locals at the bar we sat at. We will be going back.”

“Stopped on Saturday (the day before Easter) and the place was buzzing with happy people and good food. We were a table of 6, and the service couldn't have been better. The young lady with the purple highlights was super pleasant and attentive. What a beautiful personality she has, definitely an asset to Y&B!Features: Called order in and picked it up. “I had a great time. So, on the way there I felt like I was going the wrong way because gps took me through a residential area but I was right on track. Lol. I feel like it's more of a mom and pop type of place. The food was really good. They even had sandwiches which I thought was pretty cool. I got a ground beef burrito with a cola. The food didn't take long to make and when it was ready the lady brought it to me which I wasn't expecting. She also came and checked on me 2 or 3 times. I might have to go again before I leave the area.”

“Parking: Parking is is steps away from the the front door of this establishment.Kid-friendliness: Many tables within the ice cream shop are set up for chess or another board game at request, if needed, but there always 2 chess boards out with kids and young adults utilizing them. It’s quite lovely and the crew is always courteous, friendly, kind and considerate.”

The wait staff was attentive and provided excellent service. The atmosphere of the establishment was welcoming and pleasant. In addition to the salmon, I also ordered the beef rib tacos, which exceeded my expectations in terms of taste and quality. I would like to extend my gratitude to all the staff members for their excellent work. Overall, I found the establishment to be of high quality and particularly notable for its cleanliness.”

“This is the best of the best...when the master is there. The master could lace the tacos with cyanide and the tacos would still be better than taco bell. The master chef is among the best chefs in the world. The one time he wasn't present the tacos were unseasoned and terrible, however when the master was there the tacos were perfect. Gordan Ramsay would be jealous of the masters taco making abilities.”

“Tonight was my second visit for open mic night. I drank a couple Virgin Marys done Dave's way (that's him in the pic serving drinks). It's very good and comes with some great deli stuff on toothpicks! So even though I didn't order any food, I still have to give that drink a 5 star food rating. ?There are some great musicians on open mic night and the crowd is supportive and fun. There's a few of us who do a karaoke song or two in between sets. It's makes for a great time on a Tuesday night.”

Extra toppings do cost extra (anywhere) but this DQ actually does it correctly.
