“Today (Sunday, 1/29), was my 3rd time here! Great visit! I ordered the Ultimate Ace Milk Tea; it was really good —loved its honey flavor and smooth milkiness! The previous times i came here—Saturday 1/21 and Sunday, 1/22---were both great, too! On Saturday, I had the Dragonball Tea; on Sunday, the Grapefruit Lychee Jelly Tea--I'd definitely order both again! I haven't been to a tea house in about 6 or 7 years when I used to make the schlep to Highland Park to Billy Corgan's tea house, Madame Zuzu's! Umbrella Tea House is, so far, the absolute best I've ever been to (closer to home, not as pricey, better ambience, younger/more interesting clientele)! The tea selection is huge and interesting, the ambience is hip and surreal (loved the beautiful, trippy, lit up enchanted forest decor inside, plus the small comfy couch seating in the back, along with all the anime figures on the counter...So very COOL!!! The employees who work here are professional, knowledgeable, and efficient! Last, the clientele here is young, diverse and very cool without any pretension--I hung out for 2 hours each visit, loving my awesomely flavorful, relaxing tea and digging the surreal, chilled out vibe of the place and the atom collider of Millennial/Gen Z-ers who flooded the place after I came in each time! You could people watch all day! The first time I came in, a young dude with a long denim dress came in! Today, 4 Pakistani dudes with long black beards in traditional gown-like outfits came in! It was all too cool to see such diversity in 1 spot each time! Definitely coming back a few million more times!!“
“I still love this place, but I’ve come here the last three weeks at around 2:45pm on Tuesdays, and it’s been closed even though their hours on the door say that they should be open. It’s very disappointing and they should probably edit their hours.I bought the brown sugar milk tea as well as the Thai milk tea with boba and both were amazing! The employees were also very friendly and the shop offers a wide variety of options!“
“This place was so good it was a little pricey but I understand why. The food and service was very good and it seemed very clean in there. I didn't expect for the ramen one to be so good but it was the best. Even the next day I heated it up in the microwave and it still tasted amazing.“

I just happened to get pizza next door and my son wanted to try it and I'm an so happy we did because it was amazing and we just found our regular spot now lol, and the customer service was amazing and I love these mason jars! “I ordered the matcha donut and the dalgona matcha bubble tea. The donut was very fresh and quite tasty! The bubble tea, however, was not as good as other drinks I've had. The matcha tea tasted mostly like milk with barely any matcha flavor or sweetness.“

“My son and I came in to try Bubble Tea for the first time. Since we weren't sure what to get, the young woman at the register helped us out. She was very pleasant and friendly. And we LOVED our milk teas! My son loved it so much he asked if we could go back tonight to get another mango milk tea w/ bursting mango bobas. Highly recommend and we'll definitely be back a lot more in the future!“
“I was so excited to take my son here. This has been my fav restaurant since the late 90s!The best Thai restaurant in Chicagoland. They have lots of meat free options. My personal favs are their spicy tofu & the spicy tom yum soup. It is SOOO DELICIOUS!!“
“AMAZING DRINKS!This was one great find for us. We got Taro slush and Mango yogurt slush with lychee chewy jelly. The drinks tasted great. The girls at the service desk were very nice and helpful. “I needed a gift card for my sister who lives near this store. I live in Oregon and recently visited. Their online ordering was down and I don't know if they even offer this online. Anyway I called and gave them my card info and they said they would get it to her. They drove the card over to her a few hours later. They didn't want to risk mailing it. My sister was so excited. Service beyond the call of duty. I hope they get an E-gift card set up on the online ordering system for future use.“
“The food is good but expensive. However, the sushi rice is usually just old white rice. If I was eating in restaurant, I would send my food back for what I actually ordered, but it's delivered so ?♀️The boba tea is actually even more expensive than listed, because you're required to choose a boba type for an extra $1+. I always order thru UberEats, and delivery is fast and my food is packed well.“
