I had been wanting to go to Kurimu since it's opening by the UIC campus. I had heard good things about it, and the kind of soft serve ice cream they serve reminded me of Japanese soft serve I had in Hong Kong and Singapore. The creamiest and most flavorful ice cream I've had. I was told Hokkaido ice cream is the best and it lives up to the hype. The taro/Thai iced tea swirl was a perfect combination and it's unfortunate to not be offered every month. The taro was earthy and not too sweet to balance out the Thai tea. They have a dozens of unique flavors of scoop ice cream and drinks. Staff were friendly even during the rush with offering samples of the durian flavor. The space is slightly cramped
