“This franchise is very well run! Service is great, store is clean, food well prepared.I was passing trough and entered the store right at closing time. The manager/owner served us and was obviously a very conscientious person and driven to do things right! I was impressed.“
“Okay I'm going to go ahead and save this. This chain established on the golden arches brings one thing to mind to me. And that one thing is hot salty crisp McDonald's french fries. No matter how you take them plain with salt and ketchup or even dipped in a milkshake they've got to be good. I rate McDonald's restaurants based on the quality of their French fries. To my mind if I was a district manager or a regional manager that would be criteria as well as it is in indicative of their brand. This McDonald's got it right and they get it right just about every time I'm there. Now I have to be honest I really don't like eating a burger at McDonald's anymore. Maybe I'm stuck up because I eat clean beef locally raised and it just tastes a little different. I'll be back to this McDonald's honestly not often because there is another option in town I really love a mom and pop Burger Shop and Shelbyville called Druby's try that place too it'll knock your Aunt Connie socks off.“
“Oh my heavens, this is my new favorite small town restaurant. Decatur has Krekles, Taylorville has Bill's Toasty. Shelbyville has Drubys, and we had so been looking forward to trying it. It did NOT disappoint. 2 double cheeseburgers, and a POUND of fries for $11 is an amazing deal. My hb and I split the order, and we struggled to finish it all. The hot fudge & caramel shakes were delicious, and really hit the spot after a day at the beach. The service was friendly, & super fast, and the employees were really hustling to get drive thru orders out. We will absolutely be back. I must admit I'm puzzled by the negative reviews on their burgers. I'm from Decatur, and imo, they have Krekles STOMPED. Krekles is good, dgmw, but they're NOT what they used to be. Our Druby burgers were perfect.“
