“The food is surprisingly good. But I recommend you check your food before you leave. They frequently get it wrong. This time I said no onions on my gyro, so I got no sauce either. I wanted the sauce. Last time our Italian beef bread was soaked through in juice. So this time I asked for juice on the side, and they charged me extra for it. Maybe next time I'll ask for the bread on the side.“
“Family owned restaurant. They support veterans and troops. Food is #1 in the area. Their gyro is a must try. I have tried almost everything from their menu selections over years and never been disappointed with the food I had. Employees are super friendly. Prices are fair. “This place has amazing food and service is great, especially from the cook! My husband buys us food from here at least 2-3 times a month so we’ve got around to try almost everything (he has for sure), and we’re never disappointed. The only reason I did not put 4 stars is because the hours aren’t always accurate with what’s posted. There has been times when we’ve wanted to get food here, but they were closed early. Other than that, I definitely recommend it here! ?“
“I got the Maxwell street polish with fries. I lived in Chicago and every now and then went to the original Jimmy's hot dogs which use to be on Halsted and Maxwell, for the original Maxwell street polish. Joey's in Crest Hill tasted just as good! I will be back again.“
“Doggie Diner, Your 2 hot dog, fries and drink special is an excellent deal. The hot dogs and fries were excellent and well worth the ride. My wife had the gyros with fries it was outstanding too. There is more to the menu than dogs and gyros and we look forward to sampling from their variety of items. I'd recommend using your GPS to find the Doggie Diner, because it's easy to miss.“
“I LOVE the custom order salads. Fill out the slip, pick out your favorite ingredients and dressing. Then after a short wait, dive into a bountiful fresh salad full of all the things you want to eat. “This place is a very convenient because they do have a drive-thru which is nice. I tried the #1 combo, which is the Gyro plate, which comes with fries and a drink. The Gyro was OK. It tastes a little bit different than a traditional Gyro. They give you a lot of meat and the fries were crispy and seasoned to perfection. My Dr Pepper tasted like an off brand though. This combo was around $10 My fiancé had the chicken philly combo and the sandwich was a little small. He said it tasted good and he enjoyed his food. His combo was around $10 as well. I would definitely come back if I'm in the area and try one of their weezee burgers next time. Service was fast and friendly.“
“I love this place. I went with my friend after a dance competition and it was perfect. The fries are absolutely amazing, along with the hot dogs. I'm not one to get more than just ketchup on my hot dog but I would try it here. I'm also super picky with my hot dogs which is why i was a little nervous to try this place but I honestly don't think I've ever had a better hotdog lol.“

“Portillos oh portillos perfect charbroiled burger, chocolate cake shake and crinkle cut fries with cheese oh and the Italian beef dipped with giardinara oooooh say less seriously. Everything you order here is made really well with quality ingredients making this the best fast food restaurant in my opinion! The hot dogs are on poppyseed buns and they have the correct Chicago additions but can make them however you like obviously. The sport peppers are on the smaller side but they rock! Did I say Chocolate Cake Shake?!? Let me say it again CHOCOLATE CAKE SHAKE“
