Al sham has an amazing selection of middle eastern pastries. I got the chocolate baklava and the pistachio ice cream and both were fantastic. The owner told me how the ice cream was made with organic milk and the baklava is made with hand made phyllo dough. He goes into great detail about how every item is prepared and is very welcoming!
We were very impressed with the quality! Green Turkish pistachios galore.. So glad to see fresh kanafa. The very kind owner allowed us to sample the halawet el jibn-- which was amazing, sooo creamy! Just the right amount of sweetness. Our new dessert destination! We will be back! Can't wait to try the ice cream. (:

One of the best Middle Eastern dessert places hands down. Everything tastes exceptional and the owner radiates the feeling of hospitality. You will not go wrong with whichever dessert you choose. The interior reminds you of Syrian tv show interior designs. Highly recommend.
