Fantastic food. All made by the owner with loving Jamaican care. I had the red snapper with red beans and rice. I have not been to Jamaica but his food makes me want to go. Easy to find too on Oakton in Skokie.

My sister and I were craving some comforting food, and she had this in her want-to-go list. We tried it, and it became one of our favorite restaurants. The food is made to order and is soooo good. The owner/chef is so kind too. I wish I lived closer, but I’ll just have to continue ordering 8 plates at a time whenever I get a chance to go there again. ?

Spoke with the owner for a while. I ORDERED THE JERK CHICKEN AND GOAT DISH. Melts in your mouth. The only question is. Will he be there when you come? Get it while it is hot!! He's going to retire soon.

Odin's Tooth! When the island winds call you on your way to Valhalla and you need to get that spice just right there is only one place to go. Where you ask? De Jred that is where. We feasted like in the mighty halls of Valhalla only with an island flair. I could not be more happy with a belly full and my thirst quenched. For Valhalla we ride!
