“I can't believe it took me this long to discover this hidden gem. I ordered their signature drink and it was crazy good. It was so good in fact that I would call it "dangerously good", I couldn't even tell I was drinking tequila! This place has good music, excellent food, and amazing drinks. If you love Mexican food then you have to check out Salsa Street! The art on the wall gives off a very cool vibe. Definitely will be coming back soon.”
“I love to buy my coffee and donuts from here. Gina is super friendly and cute with customers! She’s always smiling and give the customer a good treatment!!Definitely I recommend this place if you like to be treated well!! ?☝️”
“Let me just say that their Jibarito de lechon was the best I've ever had! It was incredibly flavorful and there was carmelization and crispy edges to the pork that I seldom find even in Chicago. The owner graciously gave us some of their chicharon to try which was also some of the best I've had. Highly recommended!”
“The owner took great care of us knowing I had a longer drive home with the pizzas by giving us extra hot honey packets, extra sauce, and not cutting the pizza beforehand. The pizza (hell raiser and the kids loved their cheese pizza) was outstanding, as expected based on the great reviews, I just wish we had even more and were closer because now we dont have leftovers!”
“Food Again, bigger group. We all ordered from the lunch menu. I had miso soup, spicy tuna roll and a crunch roll. Tuna could have been spicier. I asked for extra wasabi. Service Good service however a little disjointed. I asked for tea and our group had asked for refills and they were slow to fill. We a group of 5 and there was one other table that was seated halfway through our lunch. We did eventually get our tea and refills. Ambiance We all appreciated the video poker machines placed in a different room. Tables were clean. The room was inviting. We were curious as to why there were notes at the tables "please do not take chopsticks". Who steals reusable chopsticks from a restaurant?”
“This place is really good and super fresh. I have now come here 5 times and just brought my husband and kids today. 3 of us got bowls, one got a Cali salad burritoand we all shared the Hawaiian chicken noodles- all excellent! plus they checked to make sure we were good a couple times! Absolutely recommend!”
“What an awesome place. I had the most delicious coffee drink ever, a Creme Brulee Latte. They actually torch the sugar topping just like a fancy restaurant. Cool vibe and the monkey bread and pastries are also delicious.”
“Our first time at this hidden gem. Excellent service and the food was incredible. Bacon wrapped dates, Pimentos del Piquillo, and the Seafood Paella. All were incredible and we will return.”
“Delicious!! I kept seeing post about this place in my local FB group and decided to try. Their deep dish cookies are absolutely amazing. Nice and chewy, buttery soft crumb. We also got a buckeye stuffed (chocolate and peanut butter) and it was very moist and just the right balance of sweet. The brownie came in a little aluminum tin which was really nice and it’s delicious as well. They also had a variety of ice cream flavors and cute seasonal cake pops (st Patrics and Easter). Their cinnamon rolls were gigantic with a generous amount of icing on top. Each item we got was under $5 which makes it cheaper than places like Crumbl but waaaayyy tastier and supports a small business. We will definitely be back to check out more of their creative cookie flavors and the cinnamon rolls!”
“I’m a photographer and I like to edit my pictures at coffee shops while sipping on my iced latte? This place hits the spot! I recommend coming here if you want to do some work while drinking coffee and listening to some music. They play very chill music as well ! Service was great, the barista was helpful. I liked the coffee?? very refreshing”
“Several creative desserts with a churro spin. The churro shake was delicious, and can't go wrong with any of the options. Would highly recommend this place.”
“What is wrong with me, I've haven't talked about Sal's? There are many things wrong with me, and that 4000 page book is for another time. The little pizza places are what I always look for. Sal's is a staple. Don't be fooled by it's location and exterior appearance, this workhorse is around the corner of a 7-eleven building. The appearance is small but internally, thanks to the hard workers doing their thing, they produce some great pizza. Their tavern style is classic, thin (but not cracker thin) crust has generous, tangy sauce, and hearty, fresh toppings. I like that the sausage isn't too salty like other places. Don't sleep on their wings, they are meaty and done right. Sal's is 100% pickup or delivery. They have other options for pizza, appetizers, hot sandwiches, pasta, ribs, salad, etc. Dave Portnoy recently put them on an extended map..beyond word of mouth from locals. I never expected him to show up near my neck of the woods, but if he was in search of a "real deal" or "go-to" tavern-style pizza, he made the right decision. Even without One Bite, Sal's was already award-winning. Be sure to use their coupons as they gladly accept them.”
“First time going and it was a great experience. The wait staff were amazing, always coming by to ask how we were doing. The food was fantastic, The family will be coming back for sure.”
“Five stars all around for this wonderful restaurant! As first time diners we weren't sure what to expect as all dishes are gluten-free, however every dish was delicious and satisfying. Our party started with 2 very tasty appetizers of Mussels and Cheese Curds. We then enjoyed the House and Seasonal Salads, both having a wonderful honey mustard vinaigrette. For an added touch, the Seasonal Salad was topped with goat cheese. I can't say enough about our entrees. Not only were the presentations well done, all tasted as wonderful as they looked! The Skate Wing with Snap Peas was a mild white meat fish, with caper brown butter sauce. The Short Rib was perfectly done and topped with brown sugar glaze. The Hanger Steak, ordered medium rare, had a roasted peppered chutney, charred on the outside, and two roasted whipped sweet potatoes. Our meal was topped off with the Julian's Frozen Custard dessert and espresso. The restaurant itself is somewhat small, with a cozy and charming feel to it so reservations are a must! Our service thruout the evening was exceptional so kudos to the attentive staff. A final note there is additional parking across the street so take advantage when the main lot is full. Will definitely be dining here again!”
“This place was amazing! Did a carry out pizza. The angry goat. Pepperoni, spinach, goat cheese, and hot honey. Crust was so tasty and crispy, but doesn’t cut your mouth. When we picked it up, the restaurant had done good vibes. Very great place!”
“Had an Asiago, sun dried tomato, rosemary scone from Konrads today. I was a bit on the fence about ordering it since they were out of most everything (late in the day before Easter) , and there were a bunch of only this flavor left. Got one anyway. Omg it was BOMB!!! Sooo good, so flavorful I loved it. Highly recommend this savory scone in particular, although, all of their scones are great. Heavenly. A+++”
“AMAZING AMAZING. I ordered the super combo with garlic rice and some extra BBQ sticks. Every bite was delicious, quality is really unmatched. I’m excited to try out their special dishes next time!!Follow them on Facebook to find out where they are cooking for the week. if that doesn’t work you can buy at their central kitchen spot”
“My wife can't wait for the weather to get warm. She always suggests we visit Milk House weekly. It is about 20 minutes by motorcycle and a very pleasant ride. We have tried all of the exotic ice creams and love them all. They also have a taster which gives you several options at once. The place started small but keeps getting more fans. If you want the best ice cream ever give it a try. Order 1 scoop on waffle cone they are made fresh. ( scoops are huge).”
“We’ve been here a couple of times and have now tried variety of their menu. Our favorite is the tsukemen. Food is really good, atmosphere is nice and cozy.Kid-friendliness: We brought our kids and they enjoyed the kid size ramen and desserts!”
“This business is the absolute best thing for our community run by the most compassionate person who has a heart of gold. I highly recommend giving this place your business and I assure you you'll come away feeling better for doing so.”
“I love coming in for celiac friendly treats. Picked up 11 lemon cookies for a friends bday. It was $40 unfortunately I won’t can’t afford that all the time. Why does gluten free items have to be so expensive? Also could use a bit more lemon for that price. Still 5 ⭐️ but I wanted to share a couple suggestions.”
“I’m a coffee addict?? so I’ve been to so many coffee shops! I went in and noticed all their coffee beans have their own flavor, flavors I haven’t seen in any other coffee beans. I’m all for trying new things when it comes to coffee☕️ so I got their signature blend to try it out! I like the idea of all the flavors coming from the coffee beans only rather than adding all these syrups, sauces, etc… all they add is their own sweetness which I think its like a creamer they make. Good for business ??? highly recommend this coffee shop ! ☕️”
“Staff was very friendly and the food was very good. It was made quickly and tasted good. Their Mango Habanero is very tasty and the store was clean.Parking: The parking is good and close to the restaurant.”
“An exceptional visit with Tonya (owner) along with an equally impressive menu. I got the Berry Açaí Bowl, my husband got the Cadbury Egg shake, and we got the protein waffles with berries. Made fresh right in front of you. Tonya is so welcoming and full of knowledge of her product. Everyone should visit and check Elevate out! I cannot recommend it enough. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”
“So delicious! Every salsa at start with chips was mouthwatering and the entrees were worth every penny! Had carne asada and enchiladas- Can't wait to comeback!”
“Run don’t walk. In the top 5 best breakfasts I ever had. I had a the gyro omelet. The pics I posted are of what my friends received. All was perfect. Waitress was super nice.”
“This restaurant defines family dining. The owner named my daughter after a decade of not seeing her... Delicious food with phenomenal service! I highly recommend the breakfast special cinnamon roll french toast combo! THANKS AGAIN ANDY'S FAMILY!!!”
“My wife and I went to Garden on Main with my daughter and her finance for a late lunch. I was told by a neighbor to try them out. My daughter and I had the soup of the day. ( Can't remember the name but had egg and sausage ) The soup was recommended by our waitress and it was a great choice !! The food was GREAT and the service was just as good !! We joked with one of the waitress the food taste like someone mom made it. She stated that there are two mom's in the kitchen cooking right now. The food was very flavorful, fresh and a lot of it ! Two meals ,one salad ,two soup's ,two ice tea's, one coke and a beer under $100 :) To top it off, my wife went over to check out the different ice cream. Nice gesture, they gave her two free scoops. Smart :) Looking forward to stopping by in the morning for a nice cup of coffee in the future..”
“Hidden Gem Alert! Bonefish Grill on Randall Rd. surprised me with its delicious seafood and attentive service. We went on a Friday night, and the place was buzzing. Everything we ordered was excellent, and our server was on top of things throughout the meal. Definitely a great choice for a memorable night out.”
“Our go-to pizza place. We order from here all the time and they never disappoint. I was gluten-free for 12 years and always got gluten-free pizza during that time, and they’re one of the few pizza places around here that can do that really well. (Note that they do not have a dedicated kitchen though.) Also, they make a great BBQ pizza which my entire extended family loves!Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free options; great with food allergies”
