Best pizza in Springfield!!! As other reviews have noted Vito and his wife are the hardest working restauranteurs and artisans of the best pizza in Springfield. Crust is fluffy, flaky and crusty. Perfect sauce to cheese ratio. Absolute perfection. Came for a softball tournament and nearly stayed for the pizza. Get in and get it soon, before they sail off into retirement.

I had a pepperoni pizza. I think I could of liked it but after getting thru a slice I was irritated by the saltiness. There is a nice flavor behind the salt, but the salt is too much.

Ordered a pizza a month ago and it was EXCELLENT,, in fact I even called in to tell them how good it wasOrdered one tonight ,, not so goodNot only was the bottom burnt and too chewey, was a bit saltyI called to complain and the guy who answered the phone said he cooked it and he thinks it's ok and it's supposed to be dark. Wow.I won't order from here again based on the simple fact this guy assumed I like burnt pizza.Poor customer service.

Doesn't look like much from when you walk in....but HOLY COW. Incredible pizza! Awesome manicotti. Fresh bread. Perogi beer was delicious. Vito is the best chef and friendliest guy! He's been doing this work his whole life and he has it down to perfection. I wish this restaurant wasn't 4 hours from home because we would come here all the time. Highly recommend to others in the Springfield area!! Seriously. Gotta try it.

If you need a quick pizza fix this place will work. Just don't get the deep dish crust. It's not deep dish like you think it's just a thick crust. If you want that deep dish, cast iron pan buttery crunch that ain't it. I agree with everyone else for some reason this pizza is saltier than average. It's edible but expect to drink a lot of water the next two days. Pizza was good/average. Fair amount of toppings so that was good. I would also recommend doing pick up cause the place inside doesn't give you much confidence. Dark, outdated, worn out, dirty and in dire need of a face lift.

Very sorry to say that the cleanliness of the restaurant is awful. The bathroom was disgusting down a dark un lit hallway filled with dirt. The gentleman made our salad and reached into the salad container to put in our salad bowl with his bare hand, NO UTENSIL, NO GLOVE, after handling a credit card machine and doing a few other chores DO NOT EAT HERE!
We have been coming here for years. My family loves the food and always enjoy the experience.

Had this last night, for some reason it tasted very salty. We had a large thin crust pepperoni, mushrooms, and black olives. It was better the next morning as leftovers. If I’m ever in Springfield again, I will not be trying this restaurant again.

I have loved this place for years. It's homey and the pizza and sandwiches are great. Never super busy and the location in the strip mall is unfortunate, but what's inside is what counts.
