Food is nasty, customer service is crap and the place has no class like it did back in the 70's - 80's don't go there no more, no more, have to give it a one star or it won't let me post this. Stay away for this place.

We walk in the one by Mejier. An old lady gave us the ugliest death stare when we first walked in. Waited for about 10 mins and nobody realized we were there. A guy in there is just sitting there, not even sure if he works there or not. Both cooks have their backs towards us, so they don’t even realize we’re waiting but I’m sure they heard us walking in. Weirdest environment to be in. These establishments are STRUGGLING. They have no workers because the “help yourself/COVID” has taken over. I understand y’all are busy, but a “we’ll be right with you” literally takes 5 seconds. We won’t be back.

Not a restaurant anymore. I understand prices are high and staff is hard to find but for years they made fun of the workaurant. Now they are all about it most the patrons left disappointed. The few staff left where friendly and working hard I can't fault them for the direction the management has gone. It's not too late bring back service and the people will happily pay.

Made an online order at 7:30 pm to pick up at 9:00 pm, put my card information in and it went thru, yet I get to this location to pick up my food and the sign on the door says it closed at 8:00 pm, now I have paid for the food and have NOTHING TO EAT

the gentlemen that waited on me at the counter was very pleasant, The gentlemen at the grill started a conversation with me while i was waiting for my order. They both are the kindest and friendliest people i have met at a restaurant in a long time. will be back here to eat. They were both friendly and wonderful. Thank you guys, you made my day. ?

I was told to go there to get a meal for my family since my house burned down on New Year's Eve and the manager had reached out to me and said I could go there cuz it was right by our hotel... I called and Chelsey was a very rude and would not help me. She thought that I was lyin.....like im just going to call and tell her her manager's name and make up some big story about a meal for me and my kids to eat.

Made an online order only for the store to be closed when I got there and who I can only assume was the manager Eric yelled and told me he wasn't going to give me a refund took over a month for their corporate office to even send me an email to finally get one

Went thru the drive thru first tried to give us the wrong order. Then I had to go in to tell your cook that was also working the drive thru that we didn't get our fries or drink .He then said yes you got your fries I said look in the bag then gave me my fries and drink very rude he was so I was rude back that's the last time I'll spend my money there.Would not recommended them food wasn't even worth it .Maybe hire people that can do the job .

I arrived just before 8pm and sat in the drive thru for 5 minutes without anyone taking my order. I guess they were closed despite the sign saying they were open until 11pm? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

What the heck happened? I haven’t been to a Steak and Shake in awhile and I was floored walking into one tonight with my kids. First, the lot was empty - it never used to be. We walk in and there’s no waitress. In fact, they just don’t do that anymore. The menu is on the wall, you order at the counter, and they bring it to your table. Don’t worry though, even though they’ve laid off their waitresses, they’ll pass that cost to you by asking you to tip counter staff! The menu is completely gutted. There’s very few options and the prices have more than doubled. I’m 100% serious. The chicken tender basket used to be $4. They put a piece of bread and a cup of cheese in the basket and you have to buy it as a “deconstructed horseshoe” for $12!!!! The tables were filthy and the condiments/napkins all unstocked - duh, there’s no dining room staff. This is absolutely the last time I’ll go to any Steak and Shake, and I doubt they’ll be around much longer anyhow. Seriously - placed was crowded every night before this. Sad.
