A sudden thunderstorm caused us to change our plans and we needed to find a new place for dinner. A quick Google check told us the Hive was just a few miles away .We were pleasantly surprised when we found that the place was a lot bigger than the small storefront on North avenue aka Main street suggests.Despite the large crowd on a Saturday night Christina offered us excellent service and information about the menu.We both enjoyed our meals and drinks. We will be back.
The Hive is an absolutely wonderful place to wine and dine. The servers and bartenders are amazing, the owners incredible and it will give you just a little taste of that old Saint Charles. Went to the Drag Brunch at this location and had the best time anyone could ever hope for. Stopped in tonight for a drink with a friend & saw they had $2 tacos (Tuesday night). I ended up getting one of each & all of them were so good! All had good flavor & the mushroom taco had a little kick, which I loved! There was also trivia going on at the other end of the restaurant but it wasn't too loud at all - we could still have a normal conversation at the bar. The bartender was attentive & very friendly! I'll definitely be back for the tacos!
