“We had a delightful evening at this restaurant! Despite arriving late for our 8 PM reservation, we were promptly seated. The ambiance is upscale yet welcoming. The oysters were superb, and the chef graciously provided off-menu options for my vegetarian wife. Our server was outstanding, and the bar drinks were satisfying. I thoroughly enjoyed the salmon dish, and the cheese bread was delicious, especially when paired with olives. Overall, a five-star experience—we'll definitely return!”
“The food here is awesome, the service here is usually great. Tonight though, our server carleigh was exceptionally horrible. It started out fine even though I could easily tell she had been drinking for what seemed like the entire night based on the fact that when she was looking at you, she was moreso looking through you. That, and the fact that she had to pause every few seconds to remember what she was just saying. All of that taken into account, my partner and I laughed it off.When I noticed both serving plates on the table were dirty, I politely let her know “hey, I understand this happens, but these plates are dirty. Do you mind if we replace them?” ……she then proceeded to pick up the plates and say “how are they dirty”Hahahaha okayAfter that she probably saw our table two last times, one being for the check.She then proceeded to have us waiting for 6-7 minutes for her to come BACK and grab the card from us —so her busser had come by and done it for her. When she finally came to grab the check, she literally non-verbally signaled for the card with her hands in the air and finally goes “the card?”Look- if you’re going to drink on the job, make sure you’re a functioning, kind drunk.Pasta was great.”

“Amir kindly came out from behind the counter and created a super engaging atmosphere where he introduced us to a variety of dips and their paring with the wing sauces. Wow! Their Signature sauce knocks it out of this world!! Flavor is exceptional but texture amps it even higher. The jerk sauce has deep flavors that start in the back of your mouth and then somehow translate into the back of your nose. Super interesting experience! We’ll be back!!”

Rice, potatoes, vegetables, and meetAlways perfect and worth the wait!Their rice is super tasty! I don't know how to make it at home?.The owner is always there super friendly even if the place is super busy. The spicy fetta is my wife's favorite. I love the Greek chicken.The prices are Excellent even for the inflation it's unbelievably Reasonable even for seniors. I definitely wished they had a website or some sort, so you can see what they offer now. The tuna tower was an excellent appetizer. Prices were slightly expensive and portions were okay. Seafood was fresh. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Ample amount of parking. They have a decent amount of seating.”

Food is good not great but there is one exception.Those of you who appreciate onion soup and know how hard it is to find really good let alone exceptional onion soup this is the place. The onion soup there is simply worth the trip by itself. In my 75 years of wandering this earth (55 of those able to understand the difference between good and exceptional) this version is in the top 5. Don't believe me try it and decide for yourself.Parking: There's a small parking lot across the street that helps relieve the otherwise street parking scenario”
“Went here for the first time on Thursday evening to pick our super bowl pool numbers.The bartender seemed young in a bit of an experience, but together with a little input he whipped together. Pretty darn good Manhattan then we had him do a specialty drink that we call the CrumperNickel, which was invented concoction of my son Mikey's.It's in a beautiful section of downtown right across from the old theater just east of the river. Beautiful building. Great atmosphere. We had real good company there too that helped.The boys running the pool watch some pizzas. They were pretty darn good. Nice thin crust. Good sauce. Very tasty.Whole spread was well set up.Enjoyable evening. Look forward to going back sometime Soon.....”

I came here on dates before me and my husband got married, had my bachelorette dinner here, go here with my childhood besties and so much more! So thankful for the kind staff! Our waitress for my bachlorette was so funny and sweet! She brought me a super cute mocktail she made herself and explained she recently got married! She definitely made the night more fun! Can't wait to come here again!Vegetarian options: They have a few soup and salad options for my vegan sister! Not a ton, but enough to make her love coming back! A small intimate lounge open Wednesday thru Saturday offering small bites,extensive martini list and live entertainment starting at 730pm.- 1100pm.Parking is street parking which could be a challenge but there is a lot not too far away.We came on a Saturday night around 930pm. It wasn't too crowded . The server brought us a drink menu but not a good menu. Not sure when the kitchen closes.They had a piano player the night we went but he took a break at 945pm and didn't start playing again till after 1030pm. This was disappointing.Drinks were very good and not over priced.They do list their entertainment on their Web site.For a delightful experience,give the ROX a try.”

The staff was helpful in determining what they think I'd enjoy since I had a softer pallet for beer. I don't frequent St. Charles often but if I have a chance to get back, I'll visit this place again.”

Both were fantastic. The corned beef hash and hollandaise in the Shamrock Benedict both had unique flavors that elevated the classic versions. The pancakes were to die for - not too tart and not too sweet, and the pancakes themselves were absolutely perfect. We can't wait to come back and try other dishes.”

“As soon as I walked in, I knew that I was going to have an amazing experience. I was greeted by an extremely friendly employee. It was really nice to have someone acknowledge you and you can do the same. Without judgement. It was around 1:30 pm and there wasn't a line to order. I like things a certain way. I was lucky enough to have a young lady take my order. As we walked through the art of making my pizza, she would ask me if she was doing it right and if there was anything I wanted to add at that point. We had a great level of teamwork going. I knew that my pizza was going to turn out great. I chose the regular full size crust, Alfredo sauce, chicken breast, diced tomatoes, garlic and artichoke. I prefer my pizza to be cooked on the lighter side. I don't like a brown or burnt crust. I definitely don't like burnt cheese. My pizza was cooked to perfection. I sprinkled some Parmesan cheese on top. I really had to let it cool down otherwise I wouldn't be able to enjoy it. BRB I have to be brutally honest, We made a great team and we made an incredibly delicious pizza. I was only able to eat 1 1/2 pieces and I was going to roll out the door. At least I'll have leftovers to go with the leftovers that I'll have from Easter. What I really love the most about Mod pizza is that you can always switch things up a bit. It's not the same as traditional pizza establishments. But it does offer a variety of options that a traditional one doesn't have. Each one is a win-win for all involved. For me, it's all about taste and service. I appreciate the options for being able to choose your own toppings and how much you want of them. My pizza was absolutely delicious. All of the toppings that I chose blended together perfectly. The cheese melted adhering to the artichokes which is my favorite topping of all of them. The crust was cooked just like I asked. No dark or burnt pieces. I did have to use a knife and fork to eat it. Otherwise I'd be wearing it. I had a lot of leftovers, I'm definitely going to raid the fridge for a midnight snack. Mod pizza is worth every single solitary penny in circulation. Make sure that you sign up for the rewards on their website BEFORE you go!!”

“Burrito Guacamole on Main Street was our next stop, as we eat our way through Saint Charles, Illinois. There is nothing fancy about this restaurant, but you get an authentic Mexican vibe and the food and service was wonderful. We ordered at the counter, and the food was brought to us at the table. We had pleasant conversation with the woman who was working both the counter and serving the food. She was very friendly and informative.. We were pleasantly surprised with a complementary start of chips and salsa while we waited for our food. We had a Chile Rellenos Dinner, a Chicken Chimichanga , and a Chicken Burrito. The food was served hot and was very generous in portions. It tasted delicious. They are also open for breakfast. This is definitely a place to check out for good Mexican food.”

We ordered the Spicy Chicken breast and the Teriyaki Chicken and had them over vegetables.. the Chicken breast was not spicy enough for me but the teriyaki was very flavorful. The vegetables available were broccoli and cabbage and We enjoyed their fresh taste. I ordered an egg roll but it was nothing special.We tried the hot sauce but did not care for the flavor. I will just have to bring my own hot sauce .”

In my 75 years of wandering this earth (55 of those able to understand the difference between good and exceptional) this version is in the top 5. I started with an amazing Angel’s Envy Old Fashioned. Since I was so hungry I proceeded to put in an order of Nachos, which were put in no time and they were fantastic! “We discovered our new favorite Mexican restaurant, Burrito Los Azaderos Mariscos on Main Street in Saint Charles, Illinois. This place is amazing. Walking inside it felt like an authentic Mexican restaurant, the music and the shows on the TV monitors were all in Spanish. The floor and the furniture was a bit worn, but immaculately clean. The service was great, attentive and friendly. There were six of us dining together, and we ordered 3 Chili Rellenos Dinners, a Steak Taco Dinner, a Chimichanga Dinner and a Quesadilla Dinner. The portions were huge, served hot, and were absolutely delicious. We also noticed the table next to us ordered some fish dinners that also looked incredible. We also appreciated the full disclosure of the up charge if using a credit card. This was clearly identified on our bill. We were offered two prices, one if using a credit card and a second price if paying with cash. We have eaten out every week for the past 11months and this is the first time we have seen a receipt with the two options. This was appreciated.We will most definitely be returning to Burrito Los Azaderos Mariscos for more delicious Mexican meals.”

I witnessed customers walking out because they couldn’t order food. Please keep your kitchens open closer to your advertised closing time. That’s essentially a form of false advertisement.”
