Today I tried the açaí bowl. I'd much rather pay the same price and get it from nektar in geneva. It's too sweet, the açaí is premade frozen, and it's pretty tiny. Very disappointed.

I'm not from the area but this is like a smoothie king from where I come from. I'm glad I found this place. I ordered the mango monsoon smoothie. Delicious and healthy.Update: Most of their smoothies contain brown sugar, it is just not listed on their menu.

Should have returned the peanut smoothie. Mostly sugar and ice. Maybe one peanut thrown in for s×its & giggles

This was a new dining place for all four of us and maybe we should've gotten smoothies but instead we went for the lunch menu. Most notable was that almost everything on the lunch menu included chicken. Definitely no vegan options. And very few vegetarian options. We had a Hummus Veggie wrap, as a vegetarian option; Two Thai Chicken Salads, and a Chicken Pesto Flatbread. So our meals were good, but nothing special. What was very good was the jalapeño corn side. With so many other great restaurants in the area, we decided we would not return for lunch at the Tropical Cafe. We are not smoothie people, so maybe that is the major draw for the Tropical Cafe. Their smoothie menu was very diverse with a good selection of options. The service was good and the restaurant itself was very clean and pleasant. If we ever started drinking smoothies, we would come back and try their menu.

The peanut butter cup smoothie is my favorite! The Thai wrap is great too. Lots of healthy options. Lots of customizable options for the smoothies with add ins.

Food is fine, smoothies are definitely watered down here compared to other locations.Every time I've come they try to make it sound like your sides cost extra so you won't get them. "Would you like chips with that?" Even they come standard, stuff like that.They also have 15% tip as standard on a tiny tiny screen. So it's difficult to see that it's set to 15% and it's difficult to change it.The feeling you get is they are trying to squeeze you for as much money as they can, whether you are aware of it or not. Also they never seem happy to have customers, just consistently mildly annoyed.
