I had dinner here a few weeks ago with my family. The drinks were good, the food was excellent, and the service was amazing. I'm hoping to come back again soon.

Drinks are good with a wide selection of whiskeys. Food was alright with some issues. Some items were ordered but then later were told are actually not available. Chicken dish was somewhat dry, very salty, and Brussels sprouts not cleaned properly. Overall it was ok but there’s room to improve.

Starting with the hostess, the service was amazing! Incredible outdoor space that you have to see! It's an oasis in St. Charles.

Not sure about this place. I had the Southern poutine. It was so spicy and salty. Atmosphere didn't vibe with me for some reason.

We had dinner there on 4/5/24. My wife had the Grouper. Shortly after she became ill and has spent the last 48 hours sick. The only positive is we were visiting from out of town and will never go back to the WB.

I had made reservations and we got seated in a high traffic area where all servers were walking! On top of that they seat people right on top of you!! The place wasn't full! My husband got a sandwich with sauce on side it came out as an entree! I was pretty much done with mine because I had fish!! Ridiculous

Terrific!... BUT I won't go backPros;Food: terrific, creative menu, high quality, kudos to the chefService: Excellent and attentivePrice: ReasonableCon: TOO LOUD,It was so loud, I pulled out my decibel meter app.. it registered consistently over 90db, maxed at 98. I was getting warnings, "exceeding safe listening levels" every few seconds. The restaurant was only 30%full ?When I said something to the server they said, "yeah, a lot of people say that"OMG, the employees are exposed to that for hoursOwners, put up sound treatments ASAP. Bring in some pros, they will be creative so you don't lose the "vibe" of the restaurant.

Used the rear entrance because it was closer to the public parking lot across the street. Interesting floor plan with almost one side of entirely 2 top tables. Food is good not great but there is one exception. Those of you who appreciate onion soup and know how hard it is to find really good let alone exceptional onion soup this is the place. The onion soup there is simply worth the trip by itself. In my 75 years of wandering this earth (55 of those able to understand the difference between good and exceptional) this version is in the top 5. Don't believe me try it and decide for yourself.Parking: There's a small parking lot across the street that helps relieve the otherwise street parking scenario

Had the rib eye with a Mushroom risotto, and it was incredible. The special whiskey Manhattan was really good. Also in my friend had a burger that was Huge. She said it was very very good and her drink was also great. I will definitely visit again

We met friends in the middle in St Charles and decided to go to Whiskey Bend. We had been there once before over the summer and enjoyed the back patio but I've never eaten there. We decided to eat there with our friends and we were super happy that we did. We assume the food would be pretty good, but we thought the food was great. My wife had to cut off the special and it was as good as anywhere we had had. Drinks were fantastic and the burgers were great as well. We shared the WB salad and would recommend that to anybody. Service was great from the hostess to closing out the bill with our server. Busy so I would recommend reservations.

First time trying whiskey bend. Positives: the bar is from 1902 and is beautiful. Extensive drink list. Our server, Katherine, was exceptional. I had the steak sandwich. Sauce was good but the steak was pure grizzle. My husband had the fried chicken sandwich said it was good. Short rib tacos and steak salad our friends ordered. Nothing fantastic by any means. I hate writing bad reviews but when it cost $18 for the sandwich and it’s awful something needs to be said to the chef.

Well put together looking place. Clean and trendy. Good tasting cocktails. That's were the buck stops. First time at this place and it took about 20min for a server to see to us. Understandable if it was packed, but it was at about less than 40% capacity. All of the servers were at the end of the bar chatting it up. When we were finally served, the server said, "Sorry, we are kinda in limbo right now". The hostess look flustered and unwell. I felt sorry for her. For a place with "whiskey" in its name, its selection is left to be desired for scotch and Irish lovers. Top shelf stuff if you are shopping at Jewel/Osco. I asked for the most expensive Irish they had and they were out for the day. I went to my old reliable Redbreast Irish, but I swear, it tasted watered down. On top of that, floaters in my glass.
