“I cautiously entered the aging bowling alley to decide for myself if Boba Burger is as good as I've heard. After circling the parking lot to find a space during league play it better be.The menu is a big sign on the wall and there are a lot of interesting choices. The prices are good, too. The guy at the counter was friendly and helpful. I ended up ordering the Seoul Burger.It was simply incredible. Kimchi, kalbi glazed bacon, fried egg. A perfect blend of flavors and textures, and no cutting corners on quality. So freaking good!The Thai iced tea is delicious, too.SECOND VISIT: It was so good I had to bring my fiance back with me. I guess that friendly guy at the counter owns the place with his brother. Good folks, I enjoy talking to them.She isn't as adventurous as me and ordered the more basic Boba Burger. Perfectly seasoned, perfectly seasoned, perfect sear. She was happy.This time I tried the BBQ Lechon Burger. It isn't as over-the-top as the Seoul Burger but it was still delicious. Lechon is roasted pork belly. Paired with the ground beef, barbecue sauce, and topped with an onion ring, this is another winner.Their Vietnamese iced coffee is really good. The egg rolls are above average, I had to fight her for that last one. Their fries are nicely crisped and well seasoned.Bottom line: Yes, they have earned their reputation and I plan on working my way through the whole menu.Parking: It's inside a bowling alley. If there's league play going on it could be difficult finding a spot close to the door. Otherwise there's plenty of spaces.“

“I love supporting local businesses, and being a local to DP it was a must. We visit here on a weekly basis and have tried all the flavors. “Can't believe I haven't dropped this place a review yet. It's my go to place for a summer day when I'm looking for a little bit of a lighter vibe for lunch. I've always gotten the build your own bowl and it's yet to disappoint. Portions are generous. Have gotten the donuts a couple times and they were light and tasty with plenty of amazing sounding options. Consistent, good quality tasting food. Always have ordered online and always given the correct food with timely, friendly service. Inside is kept very clean. Will definitely keep this place in rotation and at some point will have to try some more of the menu. Glad to have this place in Elmhurst!“

“This is my go-to boba spot in Niles. It's situated in the same plaza as Hmart, which is very convenient to stop by before or after grocery shopping. Plenty of parking space. “Sticks & Cones is an wonderful addition to Oak Park! A great location with plenty of street parking. The ice cream is phenomenal. The frozen yogurt too!! They have a bunch of other treats to snack on as well. A special surprise of an arcade with your favorite 80’s games await you in the back - which you can play for free. “Good experience. It was busy, but we got our order fairly quickly. The food was hot and delicious. Pot stickers were perfectly crisp, the fried rice actually had flavor. Will be back for sure.Parking: Parking in the garage behind is free if you park less than an hour. There is an entrance to the restaurant from the alley.“

“Yummy bubble tea and rolling Ice Cream with so many flavors to choose from. Come check it out. I recommend for your whole family to enjoy. Nice and clean inside the fashion outlet mall of Chicago. Plenty of garage parking. The store is on level 2 in the mall. Parking garage is on level 3.“

“It was a pretty decent dessert shop. Overall a 4.5. Great customer service. If you check in on Yelp, you get $1 off any size froyo bowl. Wide selection of drinks and froyo flavors. I got the strawberry mango real fruit drink with tapioca balls. 5/5. For the froyo I got a medium size with ube, lychee, and sea salt caramel pretzel. Ube flavor wasn’t very strong. Lychee was very refreshing. Sea salt caramel pretzel was very good. You can choose as many toppings as you want, as long as they can fit. I kept it simple with fresh strawberries, fresh cherries, and pomegranate boba.There is seating but be warned, kind of limited depending on how long loitering families will stay. When we got there, there were a couple Indian families hogging two tables. They were already finished eating/drinking when we arrived. They were still there after we ate. They were probably there for a couple hours. Parking lot is also very tight and small. Difficult for cars entering/exiting. No restrooms.“

“I've been trying to look a good matcha ice cream place in Chicago for the longest time and I FOUND IT! Releaf is located in the cutest Japanese marketplace, tucked away in the corner amid other restaurants. I got their Black Sesame and Matcha mixed soft serve on a cone. Honestly, there isn't much to say except that it was delicious. The quantity is really great, swirl was aesthetically pleasing to look at, and you can taste both the matcha and black sesame. The staff said that the soft serve is definitely stronger compared to the ice cream scoop. They do serve drinks during their normal operating hour, but after like 6/7pm, they only sell soft serve and ice cream after those times.“

“So happy came upon this place while visiting a store nearby and it was after lunchtime already so decided to go in. Wasn’t too sure about Vietnamese food or Pho but love Ramen so thought would give this a chance. This was the tastiest food ever - a real hidden gem if you have never tried it - give it a try. I will definitely be back to try the Pho. This time we decided to try the bun noodle salads - shrimp with fried egg roll and the pork with fried egg roll. The sauce and ingredients were all so fresh and the shrimp and egg rolls were so nice and crispy. For drinks we had the lime/honey/mint - so good and also the Thai milk tea. Both were so good. We were there kind of late for lunch so no wait and a few customers but some take-outs were going on too. Not sure if this is individual franchise or what but the food is fresh and tasty.Parking: This is a strip mall with plenty of parking with handicap parking spots closest to the Pho door. This strip mall is across the street from the large Yorktown mall.“

It was such a cold long day, and this really was the perfect meal!Vegetarian options: They only had bone broth left at the end of the day when we visited, and they special made a small batch of vegetarian broth for my friend who could not have bone broth! “Came here in the middle of the day during a weekday, so it was pretty empty. That also mean we got served very quickly. The store had a cute wall and seating along the wall, but no tables. So it might be a little awkward if you have a large group. The drinks were pretty good though, we got the brown sugar milk tea everything was decent. Definitely not the best boba I've had, but the pearls were decently chewy and the flavor was decently good. My friend enjoyed his smoothie as well. Overall a pretty solid boba place. “Voltage is the best bubble tea I have had in all of Chicagoland! I usually get bubble tea in the city, but this is far better than any place I have tried. They have quite an assortment of flavors (Honeydew! Peach! My faves and so rare to find!). The milk tea came perfectly cold with just enough ice to keep it cool (but not too much) as well as a generous amount of tapioca/boba! The tapioca balls were a wonderfully pleasant, squishy consistency- a tapioca texture unmatched by anywhere I’ve been before. We ordered 2 milk teas and were offered a free tea on our next order- which is very kind, considering bubble tea is expensive! At first my sister was skeptical about getting bubble tea from a fast food spot, but we are so glad we did! I am sold on Voltage and will go out of my way to come whenever I am in the area or passing through.“
