I ordered the spicy garlic shrimp sandwich with extra shrimp. Absolutely delicious. It was not spicy but well seasoned. The arugula on the sandwich was a nice e compliment to the overall taste profile.“
“Their deli sandwiches are the absolute best! I’ve introduced several of my friends to Lil Guys and they all can attest most recently I tried their thin crust pizza with mushrooms and it was so surprisingly delicious! The mushrooms were sautéed to perfection and the spices on the pizza/in the sauce were excellent. My sandwich of choose there is the pesto turkey but you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu!“
“I visited la Sandwichera during their “hangover special” event on New Years Day. You can tell this family owned business puts a lot of love and care into their food. Sandwiches were great, the sancocho soup was a hit! The staff was friendly and hilarious. Being there felt like I was home. And we can’t forget the amazing clock on the ceiling!!“

“Let's face it it's a Mr Sub or a Midway Sub all in all it's all the same old sub or pork sandwiches or pork submarine sandwich places where the meat is what it is not so real but just passes for being some sort of meat.. let's be honest here it's not what you call the quality meat that you would get at a deli. It's a great sandwich when you really want to eat something with a lot of calories and sloppy oil and vinegar and mayonnaise especially when you're looking to cheat on your diet or if you're drunk at 3:00 in the morning.. the only thing that's great about it is the real Italian bread is really and for some reason the oil and vinegar really complements the bread and then it complements the subpar atrocious meat or tuna or whatever your sandwiches is. The prices are very fair not like it is today at Subway where Subway's prices are out of the realm of costly, so you save money here and let's face it you get your basic flaky lettuce and your subpart tomatoes and onions and then you get your subpar meets basically that's what you're getting but again it's still a good bread, I can't understand how the bread is so good at these sub or Mr sub or Midway Sub or Port submarine places, and this one used to be a mistress sub but they changed the name years ago but it's all the same. The fountain drinks are really good just enough syrup in drinks, you won't get that at 7-11 LOL.“
“8 years ago, my step granddaughter had baked a tray of brownies and left them on the stove. I had about 4 and half until my eyes started closing on their own. My vision spun black, to white, to even maybe red orange and yellow. I was terrified of the way I felt- it was my first time under the influence of marijuana besides in the clove cigarette I smoked back in '68. I had the AK-47 at Cheba Hut yesterday. It stayed perfectly warm in my bag despite my 25 minute moped trek home thanks to the thorough wrapping of the employees. The wife questioned why I smelt like roast beef after supper that night, but I assured her it was just from the Cheba Hut- and not to mention the best damn "toasted" sub I've had in these odd 71 years of life.“

“Hi! I've been going to Mom and Dad' s for over 30 years. They have a Great selection of home made items like the soups salads and the Sandwiches are the freshest and Delish. The store is neat and clean and has plenty of room for dine in lunch or you can take out. Great food , Reasonable prices . Nice location . For my Buck you can not beat it.“

“I drive all the way from Darien to get there sandwich. Started going there 45 years ago and then I moved and came back and the original location was closed and I thought that was it. About 5 years ago while on Facebook I saw and add for Peppo’s. I was thrilled to know that they simply moved. Best sub sandwich you will find. I love subs and no one beats peppos“

“Great sandwiches, beer selection, and shot special in a cozy, local neighborhood setting where, like cheers, everybody knows your name. There are 3 connected businesses here. A package goods liquor store with a great selection and reasonable prices. A sandwich bar with tasty sandwiches, beer, and limited mixed drink options. A draw for locals and visitors alike. The latest addition is a coffee shop, which is clean, white, and a welcome addition to the neighborhood. There are limited coffee options in walking distance in this corner of the neighborhood. Coffee is one of the few things I make well, so I can't comment on the third establishment. If like the other 2, I'm sure it's a great early time gathering spot.“
“This is the best sandwich shop! You can tell the bread is fresh and the deli meats are freshly sliced. We ordered online for pickup and got a bogo deal through Uber Eats so we didn't have much interaction with the service. On the inside it's a little shop with a bar and limited seating. Luckily we live a half mile away because I will definitely be craving this. Pro tip: add banana peppers to the west sider.“

“I think I've only been inside this location to replace a drink or get some condiments that weren't added to my order or something. Otherwise it's mainly drive-thru. Service is usually pretty good and haven't had any issues with making an order improperly. Some of the best sandwiches for the price. Especially the 2 regular subs deal. “Co-workers wanted to meet up for lunch and I am so glad they choose this place. They have some table and chairs inside, but it can be a tight fit during the lunch rush. The employees are helpful, and the place looked very clean. The menu has a lot of options, and I was happily surprised they have gluten free bread which was the best gluten free bread I have ever had a sandwich on. The contents on the sandwich were flavorful and you could tell they were fresh. It came with a side salad which had a great dressing on it. Overall, the meal was worth the price, and I would recommend trying them out yourself. I did spot a homemade galeto selection, but didn't indulge on this first trip, but I may need to check that out and report back in the future.“

“Had a taste for a mall cheesesteak and decided to give this location a try. I ordered online and was advised 15 minites, I showed up within 20 minutes, and my food was hot and ready. The cheese steak was very good, thin meat, fresh condiments, and soft bread, and I really enjoyed the thinly sliced pickles. I also ordered wings that were well sauced and a very nice size for chicken wings. The service was nice as well. I will definitely be back. Also, if you plan on coming back. join their rewards online, you get coupons and sometimes a few dollars off your meal.“
“While not my usual selection, I ordered the Italian beef dry with juice on the side. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the sandwich and the generous amount of beef packed into it. The side of juice was fine for someone like me who doesn't was a soaked beef. With the side of fries and drink it is a sandwich meal that satisfies. The employees are courteous and efficient.“

“Went looking for a Clam Chowder last week and found it at Starship. My husband and I enjoyed it- it was so delicious. It was slightly creamy and had a wonderful amount of clams and potatoes in it. The best part was the bit of “heat” in the chowder. For me the heat manifested itself at the back of the throat, a lovely warm sensation. ( maybe pepper?) The chowder was seasoned perfectly, the texture was great and they are always generous with the bread and crackers. Best clam chowder I have had outside of Boston. I almost felt guilty enjoying my meal so much on a Friday in lent, did not feel like I was giving up anything?it was That good!“

“Always a must stop on my way to or from the Brookfield Zoo. I don't live in the area any more, but when I visit I always try to hit up Mr. Submarine. I don't know what it is, because at face value the ingredients are just OK. But when you get that shredded lettuce soaked with vinegar and oregano, and the not quite sure what kind of cheese it is, mixed with a true sub roll and solid deli meat. It's a beautiful thing.
