Caribou is the best coffee in DeKalb-Sycamore, and barrista Eric is the best! I've been to cafe's in Italy, Venice and Paris, and he is a whiz: Two or more drinks at one time--no problem. And always a kind word and a helping hand.
Such a bummer… being from Iowa I was so excited to find a Caribou within an hour drive (being as I live in Rockford). But I was quickly disappointed when my mocha had WAAAY too much milk and not enough chocolate.I fully realize that this is tough the Caribou way (they actually melt chocolate in the steamed milk versus using drinking chocolate combined with the espresso which is far superior IMO), but this is what sets Caribou apart.Obviously I’ll return to let them try again,...read full review

Coffee was great and we bought a couple of bags also. Barista ground the beans for us and my husband made a cup this morning and said it was fantastic. Great spot to relax with good coffee!
