What a GREAT guy, and place to eat. Joe, our waiter was EXCEPTIONAL. His attention to us, upbeat charisma, and jovial demeanor would change anyone from ok........to Feeling Fantastic. “My favorite Chinese takeout in the area. Had not been there in a while, so I had to go with my tried and true shrimp fried rice. Tasted even better than I remember! Portion very solid for a pint size as well. Inside was a bit more run down/unorganized, but nothing too surprising to be honest. Just got takeout anyway so didn't mind this time around.”

“I love locally owned places like this. They said they were known for their wings so that's what I ordered. I got the naked buffalo wings and they were tasty and CRISPY! I really liked the buffalo sauce they used, too. We also got the loaded fries and those were delicious. I love that they offer outdoor seating. Everyone who works here is really friendly, too. I would love to come here again!

Parking: They had a good size parking lot for a downtown area.

Kid-friendliness: They had giant jenga and connect four in the outdoor area.

Wheelchair accessibility: They had a wheelchair ramp for one of the doors.”

“Recent travels brought me through this area. I wasn't sure about this restaurant until I walked in to order and spoke to a terrific young man named Dylan. he was helpful, efficient, friendly.
I haven't eaten at a taco bell for several years, however this employee, staff in general were excellent in every way.

“Man, I love myself some Jimmy John's, hands down my favorite sub shop. I ordered a #12 Giant and a B.L.T. Unwich w extra bacon, no shredded lettuce, $28.The young man that rang up our order seemed a little high or seriously preoccupied by the headset that was clearly too big for his head. We got the #12 sandwich and my B.L.T w extra bacon, but no chips or drink. I asked about it, and he just didn't hear me. He gave me a bag of chips and a water which was kind.Anyway, the shop was colder than Christmas, so we ate outside, which was nice.

Vegetarian options: You can build your own delicious and fresh lettuce wrap of many veggies and spreads. Knock it out.

Dietary restrictions: Numerous healthy options. It's about your ability to say no to the unhealthy.”

“Went to the Troy IL location. Made it through the drive thru line pretty quick. Although the drive thru attendant is friendly, they need to give some attention to special requests. I usually I request no ice, because of sensitive teeth, my drink almost always has ice in it. Also, extremely sad that when you replace a small beverage for a coffee you pay more than $1 more. I'm pretty sure coffee costs more than soda.”

“City Scoops Creamery is a little gem in Troy, IL. They offer a selection of over 30 ice creams, sorbets, and Italian ices. My personal favorite is the Southern Bourbon Butter Pecan. It combines the subtle caramel warmth of bourbon and the nutty crunch of pecans. The service at City Scoops has always been friendly and efficient. If you're in the area, it's worth stopping by.”
