The remodel has everything everywhere. It's getting let confusing but still not great. I used to be able to walk in and find exactly what I needed. Now I spend way too much time searching for what I need.
The people working at the Philo location were friendly, helpful and seemed to keep busy stocking shelves and with customers in the checkout lines. Other shoppers there at 11 PM on a Sunday were equally relaxed and friendly. It felt like a safe place to shop. They have a good selection of food and household items, toys, electronics, school, clothing, and pet supplies - they had their sections. I love my Meijer store, the one in Urbana and Champaign are both pretty awesome, but the store I use most because of proximity, is Urbana. Sure there was a little inconvenience while they were remodeling, but look at the new pretty store we have, and I love the layout. They have started helping customers bag too, which is awesome.
